When The Body Shop announced on IG that they'll have a product swap for the whole month of July, I immediately prepared my empty bottles of moisturizers so that I can swap two of those to the newest packaging of their Vitamin E line. You can swap any of your moisturizers (empty or with content) to their products and pay only half the price from the original amount. Good thing I didn't threw my old moisturizer bottles away. I scored almost half the amount of their products!
I had two that time, both moisturizer from Etude House. Good thing both were approved for the swap. I swapped both of my old moisturizer to their Aqua Boost Sorbet and Overnight Serum-in-Oil. It's a great combo when used together. Let me share my review after almost two months.
The big factor of my decision to purchase was actually the packaging. Also, because of the very good marketing of IG photos and bloggers, I was convinced. No really, it's the main thing. Though I had to search for a new moisturizer soon because I am already out of moisturizer that time, I tried this instead and it worked great for me.
I liked the UK flag a lot because it's my dream to visit the place someday. The packaging was so cute and I liked it so much! I am almost finished with my Aqua Sorbet and I want to reuse this container after cleaning it. I can put some trinkets in it.
Since it's a sorbet, the texture was so light and I liked it! I like that it diverted from the creamy texture and liquid ones. It's good that my skincare products had this change. My skin absorbed the product so well. I actually used this the first day I got it. Even ditched-off taking photos first for the sake of trying out the product. First thing I noticed is the instant cooling sensation it gives. It immediately sinks in and provides hydration. You'll really feel your skin was healthy and has lots of water in it. It hydrates and refreshes the skin so well with it's silky-soft and light formula. I just had too many positive reviews on this that I want to recommend it to everyone. If you want to more hydrated skin, this might be your best bet.
Moving on to the second product which I got along with the Sorbet is this Serum-in-Oil. I equally love this like the Sorbet though I must say my favorite is the former. This product would give you instant beautiful skin in the morning. I admit, I got lazy sometimes in applying this every night because I'm just too tired to spend more time on skin care at night (which I know I should provide a valid reason somehow). When I finished off with wipes, I am already snoozing!
What's good with this product (except for the packaging again) is the feeling of having great skin in the morning. NOTE: This should be applied ONLY at night! I know there are serums that can be applied in the morning. That is why I have the Sorbet for the morning and this Serum at night. It's like a Betty and Veronica feels!
If only the skin could talk, it will really thank you for taking care of it. With this serum-in-oil, my skin felt instantly recharged and replenish. I feel that my skin was twice better than the last night. It provides more moisture overnight and you'll wake up with fresher and more radiant skin. Among all the oils I've tried this one wasn't greasy at all! And I mean AT ALL! It's super fast absorbing like you'll feel you didn't put anything. It's sinking deep into the skin giving it that youthful glow!
Both products was totally the bomb! I seldom visit The Body Shop because I rarely pass by their store but this time I got no reason not to. I even had purchased their Vitamin E Lip Balm and loving it as well but that would be a separate post. Let's see first what these products have done to my skin.
Noticed that my left cheek on the first photo has redness and the pores are obvious (OMG, especially the lines). But when you look on the second photo, you'll see that the skin was tighter and more radiant. NOTE: There are no camera tricks here. I photographed it after a month of use.
Same with the other side of the cheek, the pores became visibly small and I think my skin becomes tighter as well. (Pardon my hair blocking the view!) I also noticed I had less whiteheads and blackheads because when it was about time to use my nose strip for the week, I noticed there aren't more B&W. (you know what I mean!) I swear, it's just visibly reduced the pores and cures other skin problem.
Yay for me! (｡◕‿◕｡)
- I like the packaging!
- Both products were fast-absorbent.
- Serum-in-Oil is non-greasy.
- Both moisturizes the skin so well.
- Both has mild and light scent. (Thumbs-up to the Serum-In-Oil. Love the scent!)
- Hydrates the skin, recharged and replenish it!
- Targets other skin problems like removal of blackhead and whiteheads.
- Makes the pores less visible. (You'll love how it'll transforms your pores, I swear!)
- I think for the original price, it's a little expensive than other skin care products but this does just Had it all! I swear every cent spent on this is sooooo worth it!

Well, if you'll ask me what do I think about the products, I'll answer a resounding I LOVE IT!!!! I know this is a limited edition but I hope they'll make these as one of their regular product! I know it didn't answered much of my aging worries as my lines are still visible but I 'll make sure to find the right product to target my aging problems.
