Review: Hygienix Hand Spray

One of the few products I love this past week is the Hygienix Hand Spray I got from my Sample Room order. It is so convenient to use and among all hand sprays I've had before, I like this for it's in a pump bottle!
I am a huge fan of anything in pumps as it comes very handy and easy to dispense. The smell of this hand spray was lovely too. It was always mistaken by my colleagues to be a perfume.
I am already looking where to find this product as my sample will be used up soon. I would definitely purchased a full size. Full size is for P39.50 for 55 ml. I've checked this on Watsons and unluckily, I haven't seen it their yet. Anyone knows where I can find this one?

Yay for me! (。◕‿◕。)

  • Wonderful scent
  • Very handy
  • Leaves your hands moisturized
  • Kills 99.99% of germs
Nay! (。)
  • I just hope Sample Room gave out a full size of this. Hihi

Stamp Your Purchase Promo with Bench Card (FREE TFS Products)

Last week, my sister asked me to run some errand for her after I came off from work. She asked me to purchase a Volcanic Clay Nose Strip and a Mascara at The Face Shop in SM Pampanga. When I arrived at the store, I immediately grabbed the products she asked me to buy without lingering too much 'cause I might slashed some moolah from my wallet again. But then, I suddenly remember I ran out of facial mist when I saw one at the counters and grabbed one for myself. When I was about to pay, I showed the cashier my Bench card which accumulate points. TFS is one of their partner establishments among others. The cashier then introduced me their ongoing promo because I have a Bench card.

For every P500 single-receipt purchase, a customer is entitled with a stamp coupon and free product from May 15 to July 15, 2014. Each succeeding purchase of P500 in a single receipt earns an equivalent number of stamps. Each stamp has an equivalent free product. There are 6 stamps in total.

Basically, the free products are face mask, cleansing foam and cleansing cream. Now, I am thinking of what to get next time. Btw, free face mask is priced at P65.00 and the Acerola would be around P250. That's a good freebie from them, right? ;)

Real Nature Mask in Olive (FREEBIE) - P65.00

Food Getaway: L.A. Bakeshop's Cheese Bread

Let me share with you one of my favorite breads of all - Cheese Bread. Just few years ago, I discovered where I can find the best cheese bread ever. It is from L.A. Bakeshop.

I never knew that the shop is just around Pampanga's main district San Fernando. There is the main shop at Dolores and another extended branch/bakery at the market place. Remember my blog post about LA Bakeshop and Deli? That's the main branch and they also serve cheese bread there but I got this box yesterday at their branch near the market.

Since this is my most favorite, it deserves a space on my web abode. :) Look how cheesy the bread was. Each box contains 30 pieces and it retails at P6.00 each. The box is priced at P180.00. Yes, it's kinda expensive than those regular cheese bread in other bakeries but I tell you, it is definitely worth it!

Closer look! See how the cheese was all around the bread. We ate everything just yesterday. In other words, one box is not enough. Haha. :)

Once you visit Pampanga, don't forget to dropped by L.A. Bakeshop and taste their cheesiest cheese bread. For sure, you can't get enough of it!♥

Review: SkinWhite Whitening Body Wash

It's been crazy this summer because of the heat and what better way to beat it than to swim or just splash yourself with cold water or locked yourself in an air conditioned room. Since I haven't been in any beaches this summer, and air conditioning our house will take more time until Christmas, I chose to just spend my time in the bathroom for several hours. Thanks to SkinWhite Body Wash, this summer has been great all over!
I got this product from Sample Room last month and I've been using it several times a day. First thing I loved about it was the smell. It was really that pure scent you will love. It also claim that it whitens the skin while providing effective cleansing and moisturizing in as fast as 7 days! It also has Vitamins B3 and E that nourish your skin, leaving it soft and smooth each time you step out of the shower.
After using it for more than a month now, I might say that the whitening is not as effective as it claim it was but I like how it moisturize the skin and leaves a great scent as well. Just use this small amount and you'll see that it lathers very well.
Yay for me! (。◕‿◕。)

  • Wonderful scent
  • Cleans the skin really well
  • Leaves your skin moisturize
  • Contains Vitamin B3 and E
  • Affordable. Only P99 for 235ml.
Nay! (。)
  • I really didn't notice the whitening effect.
Price: P99.00

Overall, this body wash is really great.  I even use this on my face since I like the moisturizing feeling that it gives. I always use this too when washing up before bedtime and I always feel great waking up with the feeling of having a great skin. This, I must say is a must-try!

Have you tried the same product? What's your verdict? Do let me know by posting your comments below. I'll wait! Lovelots.

May 2014 BDJ Box Unboxing

Hello lovelies!

How are you all doing? I've been busy these past few days because of #BrigadaEskwela and doing some translations for the whole school handbook. I also had my previous classroom cleaned and work station too at the office. I got so many things in my hand that's why I wasn't able to post my recent reviews and articles on my humble abode. And because I was just tired, I need a change of environment and blogging removes my stress!

I actually haven't posted the reviews on my previous box contents and here's my May BDJ Box which needs some unboxing already. See what this box has to offer.

It's all about Summer Radiance!
This BDJ Box for the month of May includes different products from different brands. This is my first non-exclusive box and it's nice to see new products which I wasn't aware of. I want to try them already so I need to finish on this unboxing real quick. :)
Mix of full size, samples, sachets and vouchers!
That was a lot of samples and vouchers. Below are closer photos on what items were inside the May Box. I must say, BDJ did a great job of mixing all these products for their Summer Radiance box.

Vouchers can be used as a discount coupon on some and can get a full item and/or service like the AVON Brassiere and PAC. Others can be used as discount coupon.

I noticed there are a lot of the samples this month. Two small boxes of mostly sample size is okay. Also, most of the voucher I cannot use because I live in the province and I can't use PAC voucher, etc. I'll claim the AVON Brassiere tomorrow. I am most excited to use the the Pumpkin Sleeping Mask since I've used a sample of it before and loved it! Wanted to try both of the nail polishes as well!

Overall, you'll still get bang out of the buck if you got this box. I just hope they can issue vouchers next time that can be used nationwide. #MedyoBiasLangS :)

Thank you BDJ Box for the surprising May contents. Sadly, I wasn't included on the 100 who got a
Salvatos flip-flop. I hope they just gave it out to everyone who subscribed this May. Hmmm. Anyway, I still got June so I hope it will be better since it's my birth month! Weee! I'm excited like a kid!

What can you say on my unboxing? Any fave products on this loot so far? Share you comments below. I'm curious on what do you have to say.  Stay pretty and handsome everyone! Xoxo ♥

My First Sample Room Goodie Bag

I've been hooked with box subscriptions lately and the same thing goes to anything that offers me surprises. So when Sample Room posted on their Facebook page regarding another goodie bag that's been released for Mother's Day, I immediately grabbed the chance to avail. Look!

This is my first goodie bag and I am so excited to see what's inside. I was so jealous with SR's Goodie Bag last Christmas that's why when I chanced on this, I immediately reserved for one. This is the poster I saw from SR's FB page. :)
Looking at the poster makes me think if there will be Fly shades and some perfumes like Burberry, DKNY etc. I was already expecting for some real sunglasses or perhaps brand coupon.

Unveiling to you the goodie bag products inside!
Here's the closer look at all the items from the goodie bag!
Samples from Burberry, DKNY and V&M (Emu Oil)
From Moringa-O (inclusive with a CD)
Skin Care Essentials and Cosmetics
Vitamin Boost drinks
FLY shades
I was right with the sunglasses but not with the samples though. Overall, I think this whole loot is way beyond the price I paid for. The goodie bag is worth P1290 but seeing the contents inside, I can say that it is already beyond the price. Let me see if I can break it down for you.

Burberry Sample - P166.00
DKNY Sample - P105.00
V&M (Emu Oil) - P79.16
Moringa-O  Herbal Soap - P89.75
Moringa-O  Toner - P89.75
Moringa-O  Lotion - P129.75
ReveN Bath M Konjac Volcanic Stone Facial Sponge - P365.00
Shiseido Ibuki Cream - P1950.00
Colour Collection Eye Liner
Eyeshadow Shields
Pure Smile Mask - around P50.00
Ahava  Liquid Foundation
Vitamin Boosts - P28.00 each
Fly Shades - around P200-300

From how I computed it, the total is around P3000+++. I haven't even researched on how much other products are. Anyway, it is still beyond the price that I paid for. It's worth all my money. However, I just hope that they put on new products since I got all Moringa-O products before from the previous samples I ordered from them. Nevertheless, it's worth every penny! ♥

Were you also lucky to grab a chance for the loot bag? Any thoughts? Share it here!

Save a Bundle on Bathing Accessories

Every few weeks, most Aussie consumers spend between $10 and $50 on those smelly lotions, potions, shampoos and conditioners that we use in our daily morning shower. While this may not seem like a great amount of expenditure, most daily bathers don't realize that this is money that is going down the drain – quite literally. The regular expenses that we are dedicating to soaps, scrubs and hair products to use in the bath or shower has fueled a multi-billion dollar personal care accessories industry that is bent on you spending a large chunk of change just to get clean and smell like it. You could use payday loans to help purchase the products, but there are other options.

This spending habit is not necessary for your well being or your pocketbook, not to mention that hair and body care products are increasingly formulated with harsh and unsustainably created chemicals and drying agents, and are unhealthy for your body as well as the industrial water system. Consider switching to more natural products for showering and bathing and you will do your good deed for the month, and have some money left over for a rainy day, too.

Getting Squeaky Clean the Natural Way

Luckily, there are ways to avoid that old rinse and repeat that will clean you out of your money far too soon. Natural, everyday household and kitchen items do an excellent job of cleaning your skin and hair, and are better for the environment as well. Unless you have gobs of extra cash to dedicate to natural body products, don't go searching around the aisles of your local healthy food store for shampoos and conditioners. It is far simpler and more cost effective to make your own and save big, as well as knowing exactly what is in every product you use. This is a great bonus for those who have sensitive or hypoallergenic skin and can't use certain ingredients for fear of a negative histamine reaction.

Rather than purchasing pricey shampoos, do a trial run for a week where you wash your hair only with baking soda. You can add a few drops of essential oils if you choose, such as lavender and rosemary, to kick up the scent a notch. Many peoples of the world wash their hair with water only, and find great success with this method that is healthy, natural and free.

Apple cider vinegar is no longer just for salad dressings or stirfry – in fact, it makes one of the best conditioners that your hair can get ahold of. Its pungent scent disappears moments after you rinse it out of your hair, and it leaves your locks soft, unbelievably shiny, and healthy and strengthened from the roots down. Just a few dollars will buy you a large bottle that will last as a hair rinse for many months. These are standard kitchen ingredients that you can refer to the next time your bottle of $12 shampoo or conditioner runs out. Expect the same – or better – results from these ingredients as you might from the drugstore brands, and you and your hair will not be let down.

When it comes to soap buying, you might be surprised to learn that milk, from cows or goats, is one of the best and most effective cleaning agents that you can get. Try washing your body with a small amount of milk next time you're in the shower, and see how soft, supple, and glowing your skin becomes after a few minutes. Not only is it natural, but it is full of vitamins and minerals that act like food for your skin, and will cost only pennies for each time you bathe in it instead of more pricey products.

Review: Tony Moly Berry Berry Magic Lip Tint #1 Strawberry

Gifts are definitely some of the things that makes us smile - even if they come in second. Like this Tony Moly Berry Berry Magic Lip Tint from my sister. She gave me this product after just trying it twice. I'm a fan of anything about makeup so I just couldn't say no to her. Besides, we're sisters! :)

I am not really into tubes since it's quite difficult to apply anything in this kind of container and I also feel it's kind of messy for me. Bringing a lip liner will be another effort. Though after discovering the effect of the tint, we started to build a love and hate relationship.

This gel type tint turns red when you apply it which works like MAGIC! The color is so intense and it really stays really long which of course is lovely! No need to retouch often.

Yay for me! (。◕‿◕。)
  • Contains rich moisturizing ingredient
  • Paraben Free
  • Handy and can fit on pouches or pockets
  • Doesn't wear off easily
Nay! (。)
  • Tube container. Kinda messy to apply. I hope they can consider a version on a stick. That would really be cool! ;)
Price: P198.00
Bought from: Tony Moly Store
 Size: 7g.

What's your take on this product? I totally love it and hate it at the same time. I am forced to bring a lip liner for God's sake. Haha. If you're really looking for a long wearing tint, try this one. It won't fail! (^o~))

Btw, I am considering of putting a signature for my blog. Would it be nice, don't you think? I want to hear your thoughts? Let me know, okay? Xoxo ♥

Review: Human ♥ Nature 100% Natural Night Moisturizer

I have this on drafts several weeks ago and totally abandoned this for product review. I have so many sponsored posts so I finished them first before this. I prioritize my clients, you know. Haha. Lol. Anyway, I love this night moisturizer because it doesn't only do wonders on my skin but of my dad's as well. ♥
Dad's face skin is flaking. Really bad! I want to believe that it's something to do with the weather but I know and I believe that it's because of genetics. I saw the exact thing happened with grandpa's skin before and I am still bothered that our genes has something to do with skin diseases. I did not seek medical attention for my father, yet.

Since the first time I bought Human ♥ Nature products, I believed that it would really help the skin because it's all natural. So I trusted my belief and got a moisturizer for dad and for me as well. After using this moisturizer for about a week, we noticed that his face was totally cleaned. No signs of flakes, or of dryness. It was completely smooth!

I may not have the same skin problem as Dad but I like that it really moisturizes my skin at night and wake up the next morning feeling great with good skin. I may not have proofs but I am writing this with full honesty and I pledge of it's effectiveness, that's why I got Dad a hand and foot lotion from the same brand. Now, it's me, Dad and my older sister who's using this very effective moisturizer!

Yay for me! (。◕‿◕。)

  • All natural!
  • No harmful chemicals.
  • Treats skin problems
  • Very moisturizing
  • Effective
Nay! (。)
  • Smell is not of my liking but it's just really great.
Price: P149.75
Bought from: Human ♥ Nature
 Size: 1.7 fl. oz. / 50 ml

Who among you is using the same product here? How do you find it? Share your thoughts and comment along guys.

By the way, Happ Mother's Day to all! Cheers! Xoxo ♥

Food Getaway: LA Bakeshop and Deli

Yesterday, Jaycee invited me to eat at LA for dinner. I prefer a different place but since LA's nearer than my choice, we spent dinner there. It's been months or perhaps more than a year when we last dine there. In case you didn't know, LA Bakeshop is the home of the cheesiest and yummiest cheese bread here in Pampanga! Just ask the natives here for LA and they will bring you there. When I first tasted their cheese bread, I almost ate a whole box of 30 pcs. No kidding!

Yesterday was a different story though. We went there for dinner so I was thinking of getting some noodles or pancit instead of their usual breads. We ended up with sisig and fried rice. While waiting, I took shots of their menu and their wonderful interior.
If you notice, the prices on their menu were really affordable and they offer their food with great quality. It's actually one of my favorite place around Dolores when it comes to eating out. Plus they have really friendly staff there.

Take a good look on their interiors and you will feel the homey ambiance of the place.

I also adore their very cool restroom. Very tidy and pretty!

Now, on with the food part. I just really want to share on how the interior looks like since it really caught my attention when I first went there and until now. It was such a cool design. Anyway, as I've mentioned above, we opted for a meal so we got their sisig and fried rice. Jaycee added Chocolate Batirol.

Sizzling Sisig - P180.00
Coco's Special Fried Rice - P110.00
Tsokolateng Batirol - P50.00
There's nothing fancy with their sisig. It was just quite the same with others but theirs wasn't oily which is good. The fried rice was a mix of different taste which was Thai-like inspired for me. It's really heavy in the tummy so I canceled ordering dimsum. Hihi. The tsokolate batirol was just okay since I can't compare the batirol I made when I was a kid. It was the yummiest batirol I've drank ever! I made it from pure cacao fruit. Yes, I was the one who made it. Long story though. :)

I was so happy and full when we left LA. 'Till next time. ♥
