Review: Moringa-O Malunggay Herbal Facial Toner

It's been a tough week for me since my students just finished their quarterly exams. I became busy in computing grades of seven sections. Yes! Of all teachers in our school, I'm the single teacher who's overload. Now I don't have extra time to blog. :(

However, I got some few time tonight since I purposely left my books and notes in the school. This is to give way on some of my draft. Let's start with another review. Again! :)

I've been using this product long time ago but got no time to blog about it. It's only this week that I decided to include it on my reviews. It's the Moringa-O Malunggay Herbal Facial Toner which I got from Sample Room before. 

I'm not really a fan of toners since I focus more on cleansing and moisturizing but since I've discovered from a beauty vlogger that we need to cleanse, tone and moisturize our skin, I tried to include the toning part somehow. 

What I love about this toner is that it's alcohol-free and it's anti-aging. Plus it's herbal. The smell was very nice too! It smells like my favorite perfume - the Elizabeth Arden Green Tea.

The only downside I should say is that it somehow has a stingy effect especially if you are toning around the eye area. 

I am using a cotton pad and not a cotton ball on the photo above so the green color wasn't that obvious. It's also thin that it kinda looks like dirty already.

Photo below is the cotton pad I used after I cleanse my face right after washing. It really cleanses the face while moisturizing it. I didn't felt any dryness after toning unlike other market brands. For me it's a yay! :)

Review: Asian Secrets Lulur Whitening Facial Scrub

Since I run out of facial wash the other week, I scouted some new products that I wanted to try. Every time I visit Watsons - a beauty store, I will never leave empty-handed. I saw Asian Secrets Lulur Indonesian Whitening Facial Scrub and thought I would love to give it a try!

If you have read my post regarding Lulur's Whitening Body Scrub which I truly loved, you'll know why I impulsively got this out of other facial wash in the store. I just love everything that has beads on it and gives out the feeling of cleaning and clearing your skin. However, my expectations were just so high!

Since they have no tester in the store, I didn't noticed that it's not really made of beads unlike their body scrub. I just expected that it would be like the same as their other product. Also, the instructions indicate to use it every other day instead of daily. I feel bare when washing without facial scrubs or any facial wash. 

That's my sister at the back! Haha. This is during application. Turns out there were areas which  turned red on my nose and on my forehead. I actually want to use it daily but since there were reddish effect, I will just use it every other day. After almost a week of usage, nothing really spectacular happened.

• No beads! (I expected there would be some) :(
• Feels moisturized at first. Didn't last for long.

Perhaps I just expected too much on this product. Let's see if after finishing the whole tube would provide greater effect. I guess whitening is kind of hard to notice since I am already fair. 

You may still try this and see if it will work for you. I believe Asian Secrets are very effective since their body scrub really does wonders. :)

SUPER JUNIOR Fan Sign Pass When You Buy Tony Moly Products!!!

Yes! It needs to have all the exclamation point on the title because the odds are in my sister's favor. She was finally one of the few fangirls who chanced to get a free pass for Super Junior M's meet and greet on February 2 this year. 

She was already at Tony Moly branch in Eastwood Mall as early as 4am last Wednesday - the day of selling the stubs. Other fangirls were actually there as early as the night before around 10 pm. The store will open at 11am. She experienced all the hassle and dazzle of the event but it's all worth it! She finally got the stub she was risking for!

Each Tonly Moly branch have a specific number of stubs which will be given out to customers as to who will purchase first. As a fangirl, we were already familiar on the hoolabaloos on this kind of event so she lined up as early as she can because she knew there would be a huge trouble and a lot of fans! A lot! She was right. Still, the line didn't failed her. She got what she want. :)

The staffs let her enter the store and closes the door after. This is needed to avoid other fangirls who were rushing in to get their chance for the stub as well. She calmly chose all the products when she entered the store. These are her haul. 

All worth P3000. For every 3k worth, you'll get a chance to obtain the stub. So she purchased mainly BB cream and CC cream at the store. Of course, being the sweet sister, she's giving me 'my share'. Haha. :)

Review: Lovely ME:EX Angel Skin Powder Pact NB23

After long months of saving, aha, finally, I now got this compact powder on my hands I've been eyeing for months now. It's the Lovely ME:EX Angel Skin Powder Pact. It is like the pressed powder form of the most wanted BB cream.

This was actually referred to me by my sister who was the first one who used it and eventually encouraged me to buy my own.

This shade was two tones less lighter than the lightest one. I preferred this because it blends well on my skin. Check the photo below.

Applied it once and it immediately covers my dark circles. I especially like it when applied after BB cream. Your skin will look totally radiant and glowing. Even my students noticed that I look whiter than before. Those students were from the last row pa. Haha.

Review: TFS Real Nature Mask Green Tea

Hello everyone. How's you new year so far? I've been busy here and there and can't find time to blog. Now, let me share to you another review of mine. 

If you are already a reader, you know well that I'm a fan of face mask and this post is already common for you. I kept on trying different varieties of mask in the market and lately, I am stuck with TFS line.

I already reviewed the same brand of mask but the one in Pomegranate. You can read the post here. For me, both are almost the same. I am just a fan of green tea lately that's why I grabbed this variant to give it a try.

• Tends to get itchy if it's sitting on the face for too long.
• Too big. I think this is already common because I have a small face.

Review: Lovely ME:EX Happy Chu Lip (PK102)

Happy 2nd day of the year everyone! (^o~)))

How's your new year so far? Me, I 'need' to be busy because of grades and the like. Going back to school is just around the corner and I know my students prayers are far greater and stronger than mine wishing that Christmas vacation will be extended! Hahaha.

Anyway, apart from the grades, I also need to catch up on a lot of things to review even when the school will resume next week. Especially now that I got a domain!!! Ehem.. *cough* *cough* (Did you notice?! Haha!) :D

By the way, I got a story to tell with this new lip gloss of mine. Well originally, it's not mine. It's from my sister and she exchanged it with my new Maybelline lip gloss since she noticed that she got red marks on the lips after using it. Of course, it's a waste if I will not use this. It's just new and it's so pretty on my lips!

This gloss is from The Face Shop and you can get it at P250. It's really cute and handy that you can carry it and slide it in your pockets or put it in a small beauty kit. It has this pinkish color that you'll love.

I love the cute packaging with those tiny hearts on it. Very Korean. ~~kkk .. I also love the glossy effect of it too! 

I swiped this around 3-4 times until I achieved this swatch. It's actually like the baby pink that you love when you were young.

I like that this product is really moisturizing and love the color as well. It's excellent for casual use or in my case I use it daily. My photo just wasn't good enough to showcase the amazing color of the gloss. I swear you'll love this!

December Collective Haul

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! ♥

It's time for another collective haul from yours truly. What's special with this haul is that it includes the gifts from my loved ones this Christmas. I am a big spender when it comes to gift-giving this season because almost 70% of my money are gifts for my loved ones and I haven't purchased any decent blouse for myself yet. Haha. I may not been broke yet but my wallet and ATM is close to zero. LOL!

However, I'm still thankful for everything this year has brought me. A new job, a stable income, met new friends, attended my favorite concerts and experienced new things. I hope that 2014 will be my year, our year! Hopefully! :)
