KSeries: Mary Stayed Out All Night Complete Episode (English Subs)

I've been a fan of Jang Geun Seuk since 'You're Beautiful' days. I think I have a knack in series with boy groups and anything related to music. Mary Stayed Out All Night is no different. There's also this touch rocker guy Kang Mu Kyul (Geun Seuk) who dated Wi Mae Ri (Moon Geun Young). They secretly pretended that they got married so Mae Ri won't be able to follow his dad's request of marrying a guy that the latter proposes.

Geun Seuk mysterious personality and hot looks will really turn any woman. I like it when he plays the guitar. He really look so @#%^& cool! ♥ ^_^ ♥

Episode 13 - Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5

If you really love a good movie with a kilig from a very mysterious yet tough guy, this series might be your best bet. The kilig factor of Geun Seuk is just natural from him. I have always loved Geun Seuk's voice and whenever he makes gestures on camera. After I watched this, I watched 'You're Beautiful" again for the nth time. I love musical series and idols who are into it.

I have watched another series this week so wait for my post on the links for that movie. Hint: It is about married life with Jung Yonghwa in it.

Peace out! Xoxo ♥ ♥ ♥

KSeries: Bridal Mask - Gaksital Complete Episode (English Subs)

One of the longest Korean dramas I have watched is the one where Joo Won was there. Bridal Mask or Gaksital was a story of a man named Lee Kang-to, a Korean police officer commissioned by the Japanese Police to betray his own country and aid the Japanese in the annihilation of the Korean rebellion. During his mission, he encounters a notorious masked man who dons a traditional Korean bridal mask to fight for Korea's independence by assassinating Japanese key officers. As the detective's hunt for "Gaksital" ("Bridal Mask") unravels, his eyes are slowly opened to the treacherous deeds he has committed towards his own countrymen.

I actually like how Joo Won acted on Baker King and I find him handsome so I tried this series of him where he is the lead actor. Again, by my sister's suggestion, I got to know Gaksital. I love the story. All the actors were really amazing. I've heard that this is where Joo Won got his big break in acting. You should watch this. I highly recommend it! ♥

All of these links are subbed in English. Since the story is an old Josean era, you might get bored about politics and history but I think it's an eye-opener to people who are watching to love their country even more. Heavy drama on Episode 6 and 7. Oh! I just can't really get enough of Joo Won here. Such a good actor. His face tells it all!

Hope you'll enjoy this. More of dramas and series soon! Xoxo ♥

Review: Etude House Fresh Cherry Tint in Cherry Red

I became obsessed with lippies lately. I am wearing different shades of lipstick everyday at work and I'm currently into tints. Just last year at Etude House year-ender's sale, I bought this popular Cherry Tint from Etude House which I absolutely love because it's super long-wearing, and the color just really rocks just like women makeup spray!

It's actually my first time trying this tint and as early as now, I know I will definitely buy this once everything's been used up. Originally, I planned to get the purple one since it's limited-edition in some EH branches. However, I still ended up getting this shade because I just could't help myself adoring this cherry color.

Since I've been describing this tint (too much) regarding it's long-wearing skill, I tried to swatch it on my hand and tried removing it with water and even cleansing oil. See for yourself!

Original swatch

Washed with water

Washed with cleansing oil

Second wash with cleansing oil
Noticed that after several attempts of removing the tint, I just couldn't do it with simply water. I had to use cleansing oil deliberately to completely removed it on my hand. For me, this type of tint is really easy to use since I talk a lot on my job. It also saves me the hassle of reapplying it after my every class teaching hours.

So far, this tops both the Benefit tints I used before. This color even stands out more compared to other tints I tried.  Read my other reviews of the different tints and read for yourself. :)

Yay for me! (。◕‿◕。)
  • Gives a bright, cherry red color
  • Very cute and dainty packaging
  • Smells lovely
  • SUPER long-wearing
  • Moistens the lips
  • Available in different shades
Nay! (。◕︵◕。)
  • Since it's long-wearing, it is sometimes difficult to remove. It's a nay and a yay at the same time.
Price: P278.40
Bought from: Etude House Marquee Mall
Size:  9g.

Do you have the same shade? I guess I was too late to try this since this has been a hype years ago. Thanks to Etude House sale's I got to visit them and hoard makeup products. I finally found the lip tint that I truly want. I will also find all the other shade so I can differentiate them all. ♥

Kisses and hugs! Xoxo ♥

Review: Human Heart Nature Peppermint Lip Balm

I threw away my EOS lipbalm. Sounds crazy, right? Well, it's because I already had it for more than a year or longer I guess. It's not even half empty but I had to let it go. I don't know why it didn't occurred to me to use all of it back then. Maybe because those type of packaging for lip balms just didn't suit me at all. Good thing it was replaced with this Human Heart Nature Peppermint Lip Balm I purchased few months ago. I love every bit of it!

Anything that has got to do with mint, be it body scrubs, cleansers, or more so, chocolates were really lovely. They're like wonderful treasures for me. So this lip balm was rather amazing as well. It's my first minty balm and oh-em-gee I love it so much that I do not want anything but this! ♥

Yay for me! (。◕‿◕。)
  • It really cools the lips.
  • Very light and can be put on pockets
  • Human Heart Nature has a variety of shades
  • Made with all-natural oils
  • Prevents the lips from drying and chapping
  • Moisturize the lips well without the sticky feeling
Nay! (。◕︵◕。)
  • Naaaah! ^_^
Price: P79.75
Bought from: HUman Heart Nature Outlet in San Agustin, Pampanga
 Size: 4g.

What's your favorite lip balm to date? This one's mine for sure! I'm still searching for more lip balms to try though so keep on commenting any suggestions you have.

Kisses and hugs! ♥ XOXO

Review: Maybelline Expert Wear Bronze Haze

Eyeshadow makeup is one of my weaknesses when it comes to the beauty department. I may have reviewed other beauty stuff but not to the extent that I created smokey eyeshadows. I focus more on skin care and not really into cosmetics. For me to be able to get there, I need to practice more and so I made a purchase of Maybelline's Modern Mettalics in Bronze Haze from Suzanne's Emporium

This, I may say, is one of the most helpful concept Maybelline has made. It teaches beginners on how to create that simple eyeshadow with three easy steps. Anyone can do this on their home with ease. Even my 7 year-old cousin can do such thing. Of course, I don't want her to do it just yet. ^_^

Each shade has a corresponding number and use. 1. Base, 2. Lid, 3. Crease so there's no reason you'll get lost. Plus the eye area where to be shaded is at the back part of the product so it will guide you step by step.

I actually picked the safest color from whats available at the store to be used at work and my casual days. I got the bronze line. It's metallic though but it's okay. I can use it at night events as well.

I think I already have the knowledge on how eyeshadow makeup works. I was able to create this from my very basic eyeshadow skills. I know it just looks an ordinary application. I'll start from here then and work my way up with eyeshadow makeup.

What do you think?

Yay for me! (。◕‿◕。)
  • Recommended for beginners because of the guided steps
  • The shade mentioned can be used in different occasions
  • Maybelline has a variety of different shades
  • Eyeliner brush included
  • Picture and instructions to use are included
  • Affordable
Nay! (。◕︵◕。)
  • It's just too shimmery for me. I guess I should have gotten a different set than this one
Price: P160.00
Bought from: Suzanne's Emporium
 Size: 3 shades

I want to learn more on eyeshadow makeup and I'm starting to build a stash of different shades of eyeshadows. I hope I'll have more time watching YT tutorials so I can work on my skills. I also want to attend workshops on this. Hit me a comment if you know some workshops or seminars offering courses on eyeshadow makeup. Would be glad if I can attend some. :)

Hoping for more eyeshadow reviews soon!

Review: Etude House Dear Girls, Be Clear Moisturizer

I had a blast when I hauled from Etude House year-ender sale last December. Got a few lovely stuff and one of them was this moisturizer I am currently using. Meet Dear Girls, Be Clear Moisturizer.

When I first had a glance of this baby from the shelf, I know I had to take it home with me. I finally succumb to the temptation. With it's oh-so-cute-and-dainty packaging, who would think twice getting it.

You know I love pumps! Did I tell you that I love pumps? ^_^ Pumps never fails to get my interest so I guess a huge factor on purchasing this was because of it's container. However, the hangul (even if I can read a little Korean) was a big headache for me. I can't comprehend, I can only read. Oh gosh, help me. Please translate what's written below.

Good thing that the other side have instructions to serve their international customers. Good thing they provided a little consideration. :)

The moisturizer's texture is in a milky-white form. It's soft and smooth though it's not superbly creamy like hand cream. It smells so nice for me. It's also light on the face that you can even use it under BB cream and wouldn't feel heavy afterwards.

Yay for me! (。◕‿◕。)
  • Got it on sale price
  • It's light on the skin
  • Has SPF30/PA++ (Love this!)
  • Has whitening properties
  • Soft and smooth
  • Smells nice
Nay! (。◕︵◕。)
  • I feel like it's not giving an intense moisture compared to oils and the like. Though the latter is greasy than the former. I hope they can intensify the moisture more.
Price: P278.40 (Sale price)
Bought from: Etude House Philippines
 Size: 50g

For now, I am sticking with this as my day moisturizer. However, I am still on the lookout for that one holy grail that my skin needs. Any recos?

Take care of your skin lovelies. Xoxo ♥

2015 Reading Challenge

Reading is one of my passion when I was studying in high school and college. Since we were renting in a very small room before with no gadgets, television and radio, books were my bestfriend. I would borrow books from the library and finished some in one sitting. Then I was hooked up with novels more and more.

But I don't know what happened why I'd stopped. I guess I can say my work is responsible for all of it. I was really busy with work. Checking of test papers, recording of grades, paper works, researches, disciplining students and a lot more. I feel I have more work the day after the other. I still read in my work though but it's more of textbooks which are related to the subject I'm teaching.

I came across this book challenge on Instagram (which I think is from 9gag) and I thought why don't I try this. It might bring back the passion I once had. I'm getting excited and nervous if I can do this despite being busy at work. So yes, I am accepting the challenge and will definitely make a comeback to the reading world.

Will be glad to update you soon with all check on the box before each description. Let's wait for that!
Who's with me? ^_^

Event Invite: 19th Philippine International Balloon Fiesta 2015!

When I first saw the event details on the balloon festival while browsing my FB feed, I immediately remembered the memories Jaycee and I had when we first attended the same event last year. This time, Clark will be hosting the said event unlike last year's Lubao which was really far away on our end.

The schedule of the event are as follows:

We were actually planning if we can visit on Saturday but since Jaycee will be out from work on Saturday AM, I don't think we will be able to see the balloons fly in the morning. Plus, he needs to sleep because he just got off from work. There is the Hot Air Balloon Night Glow though at around 7pm so I guess, we can go for that. I just do not know if they will be pulled out from work and will be sent there to guard just like last time. By the way, he's a policeman so anytime, he always got confusing schedule. Last year's date was only during his work so we weren't able to tour around the whole place. While he was guarding at the event, I was just there taking photos like a stranger beside him. Haha. Still glad we had moments like this.

Hope we can visit this year's event at Clark. I guess this is better than last year since SM Clark is just a ride away from the venue so in case you'll get tired, you can just rest at the mall. Last year's weather was so hot and there was no mall or shelter around.

Hope you'll be there! Xoxo ^_^

KSeries: Fated To Love You Complete Episode (English Subs)

Watching Korean/Japanese series are my go-to when I am so stressed and burned out! The past week, I had one particular series which I was so hooked on and it was Fated to Love You. What triggered me to watch it was the ad I saw at the local channel ABS-CBN. They will air it anytime this week, I think. My sister actually recommended the series before but I brushed it off because of my so -called busy schedules. I was reminded by the ad so I started watching it. I finished it after 3 days.

Seeing that JangHyuk is there, which I've known being Kongkook's friend, I immediately had the interest in watching Fated to Love You from Episode 1. Jongkook by the way, is one of the members of Running Man, a variety show program in Korea which me and my sisters always watched weekly with no fail. Janghyuk is really handsome so I need to see him act for the first time.

Speaking of handome actors, there's also Choi Jin-Hyuk which I remembered being the father of Lee Seung-gi in the series Gu Family Book. I also loved that series because of a beautiful love story plot. It's also a must-watch! The female main cast here is Jang Nara who was also on School 2013 which I also had watched before.

Anyway, let me share to you the episodes of the series Fated To Love You. Enjoy! ^o^

Episodes

The links are in subbed in English. I had fun watching this because it's a mix of drama and comedy. The comedy part was just so intense. Kept me laughing hard. It's a really a nice series and there's no dull moments for me. Hope you'll watch and appreciate it too!

I'll be posting more series on the next few days so watch out for that. I actually watched 3 or 4 more series before Fated to Love You and forgot to share it here on the blog. I'll do it one of these days when we had the holiday. We'll have no classes then and I'll have more time to blog. :)

More of dramas and series soon! Xoxo ♥

Review: Nurture and Groom's Argan, Rosehip and Grapesed Oil

I am really late with all my blog works and reviews and I want to apologize to my sponsors who gave all their trust to me. I hope you understand what I'm going through. This review was one of the reviews that I should have done last month. Pardon my inconsistency with my blog posts.

Anyway, I've been suffering from stress lately and I don't know what happened to me but I got some skin itch and dryness all over my scalp. It was really worst. I feel that I have dry flakes all over my hair and I don't even want to come out of the house. I also got wound because I kept on itching all of my head. It was a disaster!

Good thing I got all these three oils from Nurture and Groom. Thanks to Miss Michelle for sending me these oils which really helped me a lot!

I've been into organic and natural products lately and it was a good choice. I got three different oils, Pure Argan, Rosehip and Grapeseed. Among the three I love using Argan Oil but the two were rather amazing as well.

I like Nurture and Groom's packaging. It's easier to dispense this way unlike to other traditional bottles. You can control the amount of the oil you'll be using.

Did I mention earlier that I am suffering from scalp problems? I really lost confidence standing in front of my class. I even tried to do activities to my students that left them alone by themselves so they won't approach me and see what's happening on my hair.

See?! I have a very dry scalp and there is something on the roots of my hair. It is something like a skin disease. I don't know if I can classify it to a ringworm or piedra. I remember my grandfather who has the same problems with skin disease. I know that our family line has a record of skin diseases. I just hope that it won't trigger to us. But when I saw this, I want to believe that it's just a simple scalp problem which I immediately solved by using the miracle oils.

For this, I used Argan Oil and it cleanses my scalp. Then I applied the Rosehip Oil to aid in removing the dandruff from the dried scalp.

After applying both oils, it was obvious that my hair looked clean and the wounds were lightened. The skin turned a little reddish but the wounds were cleared out which is a good sign already.

I also kept on using Argan Oil and Rosehip Oil on my hair for continuous improvement. I used them since my hair in general is a little dry. Before I wash my hair, I apply Rosehip Oil. Then after washing my hair, I rub a few drops of Argan Oil to tame the frizz and gives shine to the hair. This combo indeed is really effective!

This was the result of just finger-combing the oil to the hair. I love the effect of what these oils have done to my hair. The only downside I can say though is that I actually don't like the smell of the Rosehip Oil. I think it smells like fish oil (literally) because it has the tendency that the odor is stinky. I actually tried using the Rosehip Oil as a makeup remover on my first try but since I didn't like the smell, I just used it on my hair instead before washing it.

For my face, I rely on Grapeseed Oil. I used it as a makeup remover when I ran out of my usual makeup remover. I like that it cleanses really well and leaves my skin moisturized. It is light and I fell that it's quite odorless than the Rosehip Oil.

Look at the first swipe of this cotton ball below on my face. Actually, I just got out of the shower when I used this and look, it really does cleanse the face well despite washing the face prior with a cleanser. I really exclaimed WOAH! when I saw this.

I also tried doing swatches on my skin and tried cleaning it with the Grapeseed Oil. First, I used a lip liner on the left and lip tint on the right (photo below). These two products were well-known as long-wearing cosmetic items.

I first swipe the swatches on the first try. Look what remained on my skin. Let's see what happened on the second swipe.

Look! It cleanses really well. Beats my old makeup remover in just 2 swipes. I guess cleansing oils like the Grapeseed Oil really does the wonder on most skin. It already cleanses my face. It also leaves my skin moisturized too! I guess I was too late in discovering the magic of these beauty oils.

Yay for me! (。◕‿◕。)

There are a thousand more ways on how to use these beauty oils. You can use them for scars, hot oil treatment, foot treatment, brittle nails and a whole lot more. I'm telling you. You should get one of these ASAP and let it make wonders on your skin.

Stay beautiful! Xoxo ♥
