Review: Revlon Ultra HD Lip Lacquer in Carnelian

Since the beginning of matte lipstick, I was absorbed by the hype and started loving it. So when the liquid lipstick finally came in the picture, I didn’t had much attention to it. Until now, I would prefer getting matte than the latter.

Then time came when I got this liquid lipstick from Revlon and this made me realize to be open to other types of lippies. When I first tried this, I didn’t feel it much. I actually didn’t like it. However, it’s only later when I realized that it’s pretty. It makes anyone who will use it  stand out. The downside is, I couldn’t use it every day because I feel that it’s kinda sticky and would look best on certain occasion. It’s not the MLBB (my lips but better) type.

PACKAGING
I love lippies with this shape. I feel that they’re easy to apply because it’s slim and easy to grip. I love lippies with packaging like this that’s why the Nyx Soft Matte Cream is a fave of mine to use. I like the slim packaging because I feel it’s user-friendly. The tip of the cover has a shiny diamond-like part which exudes elegance.

PIGMENTATION
It’s super pigmented, highly-pigmented actually. I sometimes find myself lessening the content of the applicator because it gives a lot of product in one pull. By the way, the end of the applicator is a lip brush so it’s easy to apply and blend.

PRICE
Individual price is P525.00. Since it is included in the box, I got it lesser than the original price if computed with all the other products.

COLOR
I feel that this has the shade of deep magenta. I like that it gives a glossy finish instead of just looking oily.

Yay for me! (。◕‿  ◕。)
  • Super pigmented.
  • Elegant packaging.
  • Easy to grip.
  • Easy to blend because of the lip brush.
Nay! (。◕︵◕。)
  •  It tends to be messy.
  •  There’s a need to lessen the quantity of the product in the brush.
  • It isn't as long-wearing as I though it would be. ( I ate a small meal then it was totally erased)
PriceGot it from BDJ Box
Bought from: BDJ Box Subscription

 Size: 5.9 ml.

Overall, I like the color and the effect after application because it would really make heads turn. I also got a lot of compliments when I had them but if you are looking for convenience and longevity, I don't think this is something for you. I find it difficult to apply because of fear that it may smudge. It also disappears fast. Plus when it is erased, there were uneven marks. The outer lip still has the color and the inner was totally removed. If the lippie is like that, it's a no-no for me. Others might find this nice and pretty but I just can't live by it. I prefer soft matte and matte still.

Do you have the same product? What are your thoughts on it? Let me know on the comment section below. Until my next review. 💋

Food Getaway: Café Expo

Located in the heart of San Fernando, an anime-themed cafe was established few months ago to give joy and excitement to our otaku friends.

I am talking about Café Expo people. This cafe is located near downtown San Fernando and has everything that screams JAPAN-ICE! The interior was greatly designed with anime inspo, plus they have a collection of anime figurines behind their sliding door. Servers and waiters were dressed in their anime character-inspired costumes. Board games is also an additional plus point if you are not into taking photos with their spare costumes/outfit accessories like hats. All of those can be borrowed for free.

For the meal, they have different drinks and pastries that you can enjoy. While enjoying the drinks and the food, they have a tube with an anime film showing. Talking about being an anime freak!

If it is me and if everything here is Korean, this will be my hangout place for the rest of my life. No kidding! Hihi. My friends know how much love I have for that race.

  Resto Name: Cafe Expo
Address: 2nd Flr. Rice and Noodles Bldg., B.Mendoza St., Sto. Rosario, San Fernando, Pampanga
Type of Food: Coffee Shop
WIFI: Available

So if you're looking for your barkada's newest hangout, you might want to consider this place. Apart from the cool vibe, they also have  a quiet and great location in the middle of the city. You just got nothing to lose.

Ciao! ✌

Mom's Life: Les Zen Baby Spa

When we were invited to try out a newly-opened spa. I thought it was just one of those normal spa in the market. The service that this spa made them stand out among others is their BABY SPA.

I am actually aware that there are spa like that especially in the metro, but I haven't heard anything near our area that offers the same thing. Not until we paid a visit at Les Zen Spa.

Les Zen is a newly-opened spa located at Lucky Bldg., Mc. Arthur Hi-way, Balibago, Angeles City. Aside from the baby spa, this is the spa that's OPEN 24 HRS. Isn't it amazing? Anytime that you want to pamper yourself, even in the wee hours of the morning, you can pay them a visit.

(Baby Kit - FREE for those availing of 3 session and up)

Aside from the reception area, the spa also has an area where customers can wait for the service rendered to them. It also serves as a selfie area as what they call it.

When we arrived there. their staff were very accommodating. Since they know that we were for the baby spa experience, one of the staff went to me and asked if they could carry my baby. It is actually their practice that they let the babies be familiarize with the masseur who will do the service to avoid babies that are having tantrums. I am actually lucky that my baby doesn't really do heavy tantrums which makes it easy for me to bring him anywhere.

They also have a play room where babies and toddlers can stay while their parents are having their massage. It is also the exact place where the baby spa was held.

The baby spa was simple. They will just prepare warm water and will put it in the baby spa. The staff wet my baby's feet first to feel the water, then eventually, she let baby go with the support of the lifebuoy for babies.

He was there for a little less than 10 minutes. Then afterwards, the masseur gave her a little massage. Baby likes it, but I think the service was quite short and was finished quickly. Baby then played with the toys again.

Overall, the service was great but the only downside the spa could have was their very long preparation of the service. They were the ones who invited us to try their services and we were actually expecting a little delay because there were a lot of customers. But not to the extent that it will take 6 hrs. We arrived at the spa by 2pm. We were just 3 bloggers that time and I declined my own service in exchange of the baby spa experience for my son. I didn't imagine it would took that long.

In the end, only one of my colleagues were serviced for their "sought-after" spa service. We finished at around 8pm. For me, that waiting game is just a big no-no even if we are regular customer or not.

I would still recommend tying the spa though. I heard their services were something that customers always look forward to. Plus they have very kind and accommodating staff.
