Review: Nature Republic Skin Smoothing Blackhead Removing Nose Patch

I've searched far and wide finding my ever favorite nose patch from The Face Shop. I think it's been more than a year that ALMOST ALL branches of TFS doesn't cater those patches anymore. For me it's the best nose strip I've ever found! So great that I am bragging it to everyone here. Since it was always out of stock, I tried using another nose strip which I found from Nature Republic a week ago.

Almost all nose patches I've tried are the same.  This one, however claims to be natural. Most, if not all, of Nature Republic's  products are natural. So I thought this might be the better counterpart of my missing fave nose strip.

It differs from other nose strips because of it's shape. It has a curve shape that helps to easily fit on the nose. They also had photos that it can be used on the chin and on the forehead part. Very cute packaging too!

One thing I noticed was the product was stickier than other nose strips I tried. It's too sticky and some of the sticky residue transferred on my hands. I was a bit irritated and actually wanted to remove it already from the moment I put it on. But I tried to be patient to see the result, which I hope will be the opposite of the earlier experience. After waiting for more than 15 minutes, removing it was easy. The result though is not what I thought of.

There's little to nothing at all. Yes, it removed some of the whiteheads but not much compared to my review on the volcanic clay nose strip. The latter literally took off all of the visible blackheads, opposite to this one.

Compared to all the strips I used, the one from TFS still has the gold record. I really really hope they'll put it in stock again. I hope it's not obsolete or what. I miss that product so much!

Yay for me! (。◕‿◕。)
  • Claims to be natural.
  • Cute packaging.
Nay! (。◕︵◕。)
  • It's so sticky. (negative)
  • Pricey than the other strips.
  • Didn't pulled much blackheads and whiteheads.
Price: P225.00
Bought from: Nature Republic

I hope someone is reading this post and knows what branch still caters The Face Shop's Black Charcoal nose strip. It's super effective I swear! I'm going to haul that one when I see it!

Comment below on what's your impression on this product. Have you used a nose strip before? Let me know what's effective for you! :) 'Till my next post. XOXO ♥

    1. Nope. Not this one. The more effective one was the strip from The Face Shop.

  4. Like Elizabeth, I also used nose strips before but it didn't work as I'd hope. Now I just exfoliate my face. Too bad this product didn't work for you as much.

  5. I haven't tried nose strips before. It's a pity that TFS doesn't sell them anymore.

    1. The staff said they still sell it but really rare. It's kinda weird actually. Why they didn't have it for sooo long yet they claim that they still cater it.

  10. I've never tried any nose patch before pero I tried some masks. I think I'd rather have masks than this.

    1. Masks are used for the whole face for added moisturewhile this targets a certain problem like whiteheads and blackheads. If you try this, you'll be amazed with the result.

  12. My skin was tamed with Obagi and I don't really have whiteheads or blackheads on my nose, but I love the face shop products especially the CC Aura Cream :)

    1. Cool! What service from Obagi do you get? I don't think I can't afford Obagi with my very little salary so using this treats some of my skin problem.

  13. I used to get the nose strips from Bench, they worked really well. For some time I also got this goat's milk cream at HBC you put it on your nose then it will kinda harden but only like a rubbery feel. when you take it off it does the same thing to your nose .

    1. Tried Bench already and I must say it's also good but nothing beats TFS Charcoal for me. The one from HBC is like IWhite cream as well.

  19. Thank you for the review. I would rather stick to my brand of nose strips then since this brand isn't that effective and it costs more.

Nature Republic, though, has great shades of nail polish. :)

  22. We had one at home but it was different brand. Just like this one, it was sticky after removing the strip and did not pulled much of the blackheads and whiteheads too.
