Review: Innisfree No Sebum x Emoji Mineral Powder

The last product to review from the Dis-A-Pore box I got from Althea is from Innisfree. It's their line of emoji mineral powders in cute and dainty packaging. If you're a fan of powders, this line is surely great to be collected. I think this has 8 different emojis and luckily I got a cute smiley face which I really like.

But contrary to my excitement in getting the product, I'm not a fan of powders to seal my makeup. I just don't do it. I just feel that it's just an additional product on my face. Though I got loose powder for the body. I used to use baby powder on my face since high school but I stopped.

Now, since my collection of mineral powders are piling up, might as well try to use it. So when I started using this more than a week ago, I was amazed by the results.

PACKAGING

What excites me the most in using this product is their very cute packaging  I like the vibrant yellow color and luckily I got a smiley emoticon. I think if it's a sad face, I might turn down using it. It would just send negative vibe for me.

FRAGRANCE & PRICE

The smell was light and clean It smells like a powder but with a hint of cologne. I can't really describe the smell much..

TEXTURE & EFFECT

It was a very fine powder that leaves a smooth finish. I feel that it's a little grainy but it's fine for me. I like how it seals my makeup for the day perfectly and no oiliness was present during the day. The after-effect was also clean and the non-oiliness would last almost a half day. I also feel that my skin turned so smooth.

Yay for me! (。◕‿  ◕。)
  • Got this for FREE. Thanks Althea.
  • I so love the packaging!
  • Very handy and fits even in small pouch.
  • I love that it mattifies the skin once applied on the face.
  • Feels smooth after application.

Nay! (。◕︵◕。)
  • Nothing that I can think of. I only see this though as an added product on my skin. But I'm lately adjusting so it's okay.

Even if I think that this mineral powder is just an addition in my long and tiring skincare and makeup routine, I will still continue using this because I love the effect it does on my skin. I also have other mineral powder in stock and will be using it after this one.

More review on other beauty products soon! Ciao!

  1. That's definitely a cutey! Indeed the packaging per se boost your mood. I also used setting powder (other brand). Will try this when I emptied my current.

    1. Yeah, setting powder. I was trying to find the right term. I am lost and forgot about the term when I was writing this and was trying to figure it out but to no avail. Yup, I don't usually use setting powder but I do now. :)

  6. Ohhh, I saw this one when I was shopping for some products in Althea last week. It actually got my attention because of the cute packaging. However, I'm not a fan of loose powder on my face. Probably compact powders but not loose. Innisfree is also a good brand so I am positive that this product works really well.

    1. I also have the same sentiments. I don't normally use setting powders but getting this is a requirement to use it. And I'm happy I'm using it now.

  7. Indeed cute packaging. As in kaaliw. When I was in college, i prefer loose powder especially those with super fine texture. Seems I would like to try this as well as I like the feel of fine powder on my skin.

    1. I'm pretty sure it's not really the cologne that you are thinking of.

  10. I love the packaging. Loose powders like this, reminds me of high school too. Maybe, just maybe, that's their target customers. Also, loose powders are great for setting concealer under the eye. It does wonders for concealing our eyebags. Some call the process "baking". I just recently found out about that too. Maybe you can use this for such technique. Let us know if it works.

  11. A very cute packaging. A perfect way to brighten up one's face. Same with you I am not a fan of powder sealing my make-up but after reading your post, I might as well try.

  12. I don't think that I have used sealing make-up powder either, but then again I don't really use make-up that much. I love the packaging of the powder, it is so cute and indeed it makes you want to use it. I like the idea of the smell as well. I know some people don't like to smell aromas in their make-up, but I do.
