I have plenty of body care products at home such as creams, lotions and serums. I even brought some in school and gave out some to my boo and now I can say that I know the difference of each product. I do not know them before. Haha.
The distinction of these three products is mainly their consistency. Lotions are usually thinner in texture, because they contain greater amounts of water than oil. Creams are oil-based and thicker than lotions. Serums are water-based, designed to be used in conjunction with both lotions and creams. They're generally optional.
I got my fare share of reviews on body cream and body lotion before. Now it's time to introduce to you serums as well. Serums absorb into the skin, rather than sit on the skin. That's what lotion does.
I like that this tube has a small hole so it only dispense controlled amount of serum. Remember that serums are water-based so if you push the bottle, it might spill a huge amount.
Serums were close to water-like texture and very light on the skin. Remeber that serums need to be applied first before lotion. Lotion creates a barrier and if you apply the serum after the lotion, the serum won’t penetrate the skin.
Serums are liquids that absorb into the skin while lotions, sit ON the skin rather than penetrating it.
Yay for me! (｡◕‿◕｡)

Overall, I love the product. I like how it really moisturizes the skin since it's really absorbed. Better than lotion for me.
