Review: The Face Shop's Rice Water Bright Cleansing Water

As the younger sister, everything my sister used and doesn't like will eventually go to me. Of course, I don't want it to go to waste without me trying if I like the product or not. That goes with clothes, shoes, stuffs and beauty products. She had this cleansing water from TFS that she just left at home ('coz she goes to Manila for work in the weekdays) and I noticed she wasn't using it anymore. I am the heroine of beauty products and I'm coming to the rescue! ^_^

When I read rice or rice water in any beauty products, I always think that it helps in brightening the skin, hence the word 'bright' in this bottle. I often use face masks which also has the rice ingredient and I think it really has that brightening effect after use.

It is composed of mild organic brown rice cleansing water with excellent hydrating effects. It contains a blend of rice water and Japanese apricot extract that gently but effectively exfoliates flaky dead skin cells after cleansing.

I really had to zoom in the photo so you would see what ingredients were used and just so you would notice that there's no English translation again. Every time I buy products from international brands, especially Korean skin care brands, some have translation and some does not. I think it's a good thing if they will take it in to consideration that they also have customers outside their state. :)

You'll get a watery substance when you pumped the bottle. It's not really pure water because it is quite thick when it is dispensed. Some would apply the product directly on the skin and massage it on the face. Do not rub hard. Always be gentle on your face skin. After doing so, just rinse off and wash your face with your usual routine of soap or facial cleanser.

However I use it with a cotton pad for hygienic purposes. After massaging it on the skin, rinse it with lukewarm water.

After using it for a couple of times, I think it really does cleanse your skin. I use it to clean my face with my daily make up that includes BB cream, foundation, blush, lipstick and sometimes liner or mascara. It cleans well and does not dry the skin.

Yay for me! (。◕‿◕。)
