How To Pack Beauty Products in a Flight

Whenever we travel, it's always a challenge to pack our things especially that we have kids. It's like almost all our things are just put together inside the bag, since there are always those last minute things to include or sometimes the kids would just sneak their toys inside. So spilled skincare like lotion, creams or sunscreen can't be avoided.

Good thing International Plastics sells ziplock bags perfect to bring your skincare essentials on flight. You can get this in wholesale prices which helps you save more. They even have the option to customize the bags to fit exactly to your needs; just choose the bag style, size and send them an idea on what design you like and they'll take care of it. These ziplock bags goes well in your lock top bags, zipper bags or just any bag for that matter because it does the job done.

I am always a victim of spilled skincare products because most of the time, the toddlers like playing with the containers and bottles and I don't normally tape the lid so it usually spills. I always encounter that so what I do now is to tape the cover or just put it directly in the ziplock bag. However, I found the latter better as spills are avoidable than just by taping them.

I normally use big ziplock bags for bigger items like face wash, lotion, shampoos, conditioner and those in big tubes or bottles which you can think of. I often use smaller bags for face essentials like creams, serums and essences.

Basically the goal of using these ziplock bags is to save yourself from cleaning the mess because sometimes, even without kids, spilled products can't be avoided. Better to be safe than sorry. You don't want your good times be spent on stressing yourself in cleaning mess.

  1. This is very helpful. Using zip locks is a good idea! I actually tape the bottles but they are still messy. Most of the time, I just bring the sample products in a sachet.

  2. Ooh, I've been wondering about this. There was a time that makeups and perfumes were confiscated at the airport. I forget why. So they now allow these items? Will check out your ziplock brand.

  4. Nice packing tips! I pride myself on packing as light as possible because I hate carrying bulky and heavy bags. I only pack the essentials and I always check the hotel if they'd provide other toiletries so no need for me to bring to avoid the mess.

  6. I always have extra ziplock in my travel bag, especially when I go overseas. It is convenient and I reuse it. Ziplock is ideal to store those toiletries, especially when you need to pass the immigration check.

  12. Always consider the length of your flight as the plane's altitude would also be dependent here, and so is the pressure in the inside of the plane. Ziplock saves you from mess and all of liquids and creams. It saves the day. Hehe.

  13. I am not a “mindful traveller” and the tips reminded me that I should be! Haha. I prefer glass bottles in some cases, though.
