Change The Way You See Love

I believe that love is patient, love is kind
So in high school and in college, boyfriends didn’t really come into my mind,
I rarely talk to the opposite sex for fear that I might,
Mess with my schooling and fall in love on the first sight.

After studying, I met a lot of friends,
They became acquaintances and colleagues and even more than friends,
But one thing is certain which I used to always see,
There’s nothing more obvious than the way you look at me.

We used to be teammates on our first job then
We’re even seatmates and we can’t even pretend
That we see each other on a different level
And our closeness just became even better.

We then did what other couples usually do,
We date and dance and watch movies too,
Soon, we became a hit couple to them
Seeing that we pass 4 years of relationship without end.

Soon, the seventh year came and you proposed
I can’t believe that our time went by pretty close,
We’re excited to plan the wedding in just a year
Then we successfully did it, oh my dear!

Just right after a month of being together
I didn’t expect it will be so soon to our road to forever.
I find out I'm conceiving a baby and I wrote you a letter
Saying I do not know what to do and I'm not feeling better.

Honestly I was nervous at first and I can't absorb what happened,
Early plans and dream I felt has come to an end,
I still want to do my Masters and do this and that,
And for my husband to go to Australia so bad!

The nervousness somehow didn't last long,
Especially when I first heard her heartbeat like a song,
I then felt his little rumbles and kicks that were so strong
Oh my dear baby, I was then so wrong!

I shouldn't thought like that because you are the fruit of our love
Sent from The One up above
Our little bubba who we so wish to see
Will pop out few days from now inside of me

I didn't know a love like this exists
But Huawei P9 can also be compared to a feeling like this
This experience made me change the way I see about love
The phone also change the way people see mobile photography like a mother's love.

The phone is co-engineered with a Leica camera
Which has dual lenses that produces high quality photos in whatever era
It also allow users to take amazing monochrome photos
Even colored, light painting and slo-mos.

Now I believe that this motherly experience is different from that first love I had
It is special, it is hard to explain, it is beyond the thought of man
It is something that cannot be measured, for it has no beginning nor an end,
It's another wonderful evidence of God's tender-loving hand.

Food Getaway: Tio Julian

Finally! After long months of waiting, I got to try Tio Julian's Paella ni Elena and it was by far the best paella I ever had! Let me tell you more about our experience from the said resto.

Few days ago when I had my OB appointment, I decided to meet with my blogger friends after my schedule as we hadn't met for a very long time. My OB's clinic was distantly near the place so I decided (with my husband's approval of course) to have a quick chat with my Pampanga Bloggers Society family. He even accompanied me. The group was the said group of bloggers we organized here in Pampanga. The short catch-up we plan to have eventually ended until midnight. We just had so much fun talking and totally forgot about the time.

We met at Tio Julian which was located at San Fernando, near San Miguel. We decided to use our GC on the said resto which we got from the owner during the Bridal Expo couple of months ago. We already had a series of blogger guesting from them. We decided to just pay for the excess from our GC in case we get to eat more from their menu. What happened next was unexpected.

First we ordered their signature Paella dish, which was hailed as the best paella in town. After visiting and tasting Tio Julian's wide array of dishes from the past, it was unfortunate that I didn't tried their Paella earlier because I'm missing a lot! It was my first time to try and I must say that I absolutely love it!!!

Paella ni Elena - P495.00

First, they served the Paella and as we continue chatting while choosing what to order next, Chef Doc (the owner) eventually appeared and we had our greetings. The next thing we knew, he's already asking the staff to add more dishes from our original menu. We didn't know anymore what our orders were and what were given to us.

Crispy Pork Binagoongan - P285.00

Tokwa't Baboy - P165.00

Cucumber Shake - P80.00
Mango Shake - P80.00
Watermelon Shake - P80.00
Cofipino - P140.00
Chocopino - P140.00

Sisig Bangus - P265.00

Baked Laing - P215.00

Pinaputok na Lamang Dagat - P365.00

BBQ - I missed the price for this one

Palitaw Surprise - P75.00

New dessert which we called Squash Brulee. It's super delicious, I swear!

I love everything they served especially the dessert. I hope the Squash Brulee, which doesn't have it's final name yet, will be served permanently in their menu. I also like the Palitaw because it has yema in it inside.

All photos were taken using my Samsung Galaxy S4. I wasn't able to bring my camera because we didn't meet there to review the resto in the first place but there's just a lot of dishes not to miss so I decided to come up again with the review of the place.

Resto Name: TIO JULIAN'S ENTRANTE
Address: KM. 72 McArthur Highway, San Isidro, San Fernando, Pampanga
Type of Food: Restaurant and Catering
WIFI: Didn't try their WIFI though.

I love, love, love Tio Julian's Paella ni Elena, their Tokwa at Baboy and their Pinaputok na Lamang Dagat. I just love eating everything. I just hope that the Baked Laing has a little spice into it though. But overall, everything in the menu was spot-on. I highly recommend the restaurant to everyone!

I hope that people who see Tio Julian will not be intimidated with the exterior of the restaurant. It looks really posh and sophisticated from the outside but the menu was definitely reasonable. Hope everyone can check it out! :)

Food Getaway: Chopstop

It was late last year when my sister and I first visited ChopStop and I totally forgot to blog about it. The gloomy weather made me sat up on my bed and wanted me to be productive today. No classes since Saturday here in Pampanga and it's continuously raining outside. Just the perfect bed-weather!

So I tried to get my ass off and started being productive a little by cleaning my phone and card memory by transferring my photos from my mobile to my laptop, I recognized that I took photos of this chain last year pa. So what better way to spend this day than to blog, at least. :)

I went to SM Pampanga with my sister and when we were about to had our lunch, we decided to venture into a fast food chain that offers a different vibe from the usual Jollibee and Mcdo. We decided to walk a little further and discovered ChopStop. We both knew that it's a newly-opened chain back then so we tried their bestsellers.

The resto was located at SM Pampanga, 2nd floor beside Chowking and ordering for your food is the same like you're ordering on McDonalds or Jollibee.

So while the other customers were ordering, we chose our food through their menu. It's a shame that the place only have few customers when we got there provided that it's lunch time. Still, we tried their food so we would know if it's worth going back.

My sister and I had BBQ and Country. We also opted for Fudge Brownie Mug Cake as our dessert. We only had one because I want to try their dessert first before digging into a lot. I usually have a sweet tooth and when I try something for the first time, I ended up eating the whole desert even if it's not to my liking at all. In short, I don't want any leftovers, especially on dessert. I can give the rest to my sister if I don't like it that's why we just got one first. And a follow-up never happened. Hahaha..

ChopStop did filled our tummy but not to the extent that I will be going back. First, I thought that the portion will be chopped, hence the name. They served it as a whole though, I wished they chopped it instead. We had to undergo to the chopping process pa without a knife and only with the usual spoon and fork service here in our country.

The BBQ which I had was way too sweet! I think the Country was better. I had a little from my sister to taste. Given that they mentioned that the BBQ was their bestseller. I usually asked the staff of the restaurant, especially when I'm new what their bestseller was so I can try it first hand. I thought the BBQ was just glazed perfectly because the presentation was great.

Only my sister had an Iced Tea and sipping a little from hers, made me realized that it's better I didn't order. Water is always the best! Haha. Iced Tea was too sweet to my liking as well. What I like was their veggies. Perfectly cooked! The rice, nah! It was just too dry!

Resto Name: CHOPSTOP
Address: 2ND FLOOR, SM PAMPANGA
Type of Food: FASTFOOD
WIFI: NONE!

I remember not finishing the entire meal and I just don't like that. As much as possible, almost all the time, I finish everything on my plate because I don't want food going into waste. And if I can barely finish the food because of the taste and if it's really difficult to finish to begin with, that place is already doomed in my eyes. I'm never going back!

I just hope that if ever I'll be back there in the future, a change was made. Or maybe our visit was just one of those unfortunate time we had. Hoping for the best!
