Review: The Face Shop MasCream Sheet (Nourishing)

Before I got pregnant, I used to have a number of steps on my skin care routine and one of my favorites is using face masks. I have so many masks in stock at home but delayed using them because I don't wanna risk using too much product while pregnant. Now that I already gave birth, I think it's now safe to go back on my routine again.

This is my first time to use this line of face mask from The Face Shop. I always have the smaller line which I forgot the name. It's also cheaper than this one. I think this is around a 100+ because it's bigger and the absorption and the essence is a little different than the other line.

It's thicker and the essence seeps more deeply on the skin. I also feel this mask gives a more moisturizing after effect on my face. The shape of the mask also fits the face more correctly. than those previous masks I've tried. However, there's no drastic change after the application. Maybe because my skin was just so dry post-pregnancy that I didn't felt much difference after the application.

Now, I need to go back to my old routine and I need to put more effort in my skin care especially that I'm always taking care of my baby. I only have the help of my hubby in the evenings and my MIL once in a while. I love taking care of my little one and I'm making the most out of it while I'm still on leave. Hopefully I can adjust fully soon!

Yay for me! (。◕‿  ◕。)
  • More essence. Seeps deep in the skin.
  • Feels more moisturizing than the other masks I've tried.
  • Bought this on sale. I forgot the amount though.
  • Comes in different variants perfect for your skin needs.

Nay! (。◕︵◕。)
  • A little expensive than the normal when bought on it's regular price.
Price: P100+++ (I forgot the exact price) Sorry!
Bought from: The Face Shop
 Size: 1 face mask. 30 g.

I'll try to review all the variants of each mask next time instead of reviewing it single-handedly. This process is a little tedious and it take so much of my time. I think I also need to manage my time in blogging because I get to spend more time in taking care of my precious one.

Wait for my other mask review next time!

  1. I haven't tried this brand yet. I think I like more natural, homemade ones. Do you also make your own masks? maybe you have some good recipes :)

    1. I sometimes do DIY but since it takes a lot of time, I always use my masks from The Face Shop.

  2. I have tried a few face masks from The Face Shop, but honestly couldn't tell the difference among them, in terms of effect. This one sounds nice though!

    1. You should use the particular variant consecutively to know the effect.

  3. Oooohhh, how I love face sheets and masks. I forgot where I found them, but I recently got blank face sheets which I can use for DIY masks, like honey and oatmeal, etc. Really good! :) Anyway, thank you for sharing your thoughts on this one. See you around! :)

    1. For natural or DIY, the result is a little longer compare to this. I tried it before on my exfoliant and my Skinfood made miracles.

  9. For me, quite pricey ang Php 100 for a one-time use face mask. I don't use a specific brand but I buy those that are available in Watsons since they're cheaper. Hehe

  10. Congratulations on delivering a healthy baby. The face mask maybe a bit pricey, but you deserve to splurge especially with what you went through. You deserve to have your face moisturized. I just wonder what the ingredients of Masque cream is that gives it an edge over other face masks. -Me-An Clemente

  11. I have to try this! Been looking for a face mask that would satisfy my needs. Guess the 100++ cost of it is reasonable considering the brand of the product and it's wonders

  12. I was able to try this one too, though it was given to me for free. Like what you said, no drastic changes noticeable after application. I guess you really need to integrate it into your regime to notice some difference.
