Glamourbox Unboxing - Beauties and Babies Box

The two boxes I got from Glamourbox as mentioned on my previous post were the Perfectly Pixi and the Beauties and Babies box. Let me show you the latter and it's contents.

I was only about to order a single box which is the Perfectly Pixi, but as I was about to checkout, I struggled on some technical glitch on Glamourbox website which led me to a page that shows what boxes they're still offering and there I saw that the Beauties and Babies box was still available. I researched on what were the contents of the box and when was it launched. I found out that it was launched a few years ago and I was surprised that they still have it. It was mentioned on the site what you'll expect to get when you subscribe. I noticed that some of the products were changed. Still, I made myself believe that we need it so I immediately subscribed.

Discovered all new items in the box for me and baby. I haven't tried any of these so everything's worth trying. I am especially happy with the 2 bottles of Bio Oil because I have extensive stretch mark all over my bod and beyond. I'm so huge I look like I can give birth at 7 months. People are actually mistaking me that I might have twins because I'm pretty big! I hope those Bio Oil can be really of help.

Upon checking the contents and viewing the list that was included on the box, I noticed that the Mustela Cream and Balm were the ones missing from the group. I think it was out of stock from their site and to cover up for it, they put 2 bottles of Bio Oil instead. I understand because it's been more than 2 years since they launched this specific box and people might have been raving about the product and got theirs via website. I'm a little disappointed though by the Salve because as of this writing, it shows that it's already expired. I wish they didn't included it anymore and replaced it with a different item instead. I already emailed Glamourbox about the salve and until now, I am waiting for their reply.

I'm looking forward for the effect of Bio Oil though. Actually, upon receiving the box, I immediately used the first bottle because I want to see the effect of it on my skin before and after giving birth. Will provide a review of it soon.

Overall, I like the box though I must say that I really wanted to have the Mustela. It's a pity it's not included in my box anymore.

Anyway, I hope I can find time to review each of the items soon, especially now that baby number 1 is about to come. Let's catch up again soon!

All the best! Xoxo

  1. The Bio Oil is so good, it can diminish the scars and also make your skin smoother. I love it, I myself have a box at home. It was a fortune bought alone. :)

I've heard a lot of positive feedback from all of my friends who've used Bio Oil. It helps get rid of marks and scars to a great extent. But I really love the heel mate. Awaiting your review on it!

    1. Only the Bio-Oil is worthy on the box. I really don't suggest to get it because the salve is expired and the balm I think aren't effective. I tried them last night and nothing happened. It didn't help to remove the coughs and colds.
