Manicure Monday: Fish Net and White Creme

Another attempt to do nail art in my Manicure Monday post for this week. I only stick to easy and simple nail designs since I'm just a beginner in the field on nail art. Last week's design was simple dots and this one as well. I used two shades of polish here for a different look than before.

The design was really easy because you only have to paint alternatively white and red polish on the nails then just let it try. Then put some dots and secure it with a top coat. I know it's easy but this one was terrible! My hands are shaky and the dots were uneven. They're all over the place! Plus I can't secure it with a top coat because the red dots destroys the white bed. I guess it's with the number of coats or because of the thick base polish. Oh! I just hate Wet n Wild polish so much! #sorrynotsorry

I used Fish Net from Hard Candy and Wet n Wild's French White Creme which I bought few months back in an online store. These two are the opposite. I so love Hard Candy and hate Wet n Wild's white polish. Actually, I just don't like Wet and Wild polishes. I think I bought 3 different shades including this White Creme and it just wouldn't work out for me. So I guess this will be my last batch of Wet n Wild polishes. I like their other cosmetics though.

This just lasted a day and I had to remove it because it felt untidy. I rested my nails now and will just use a different shade next week. Watch out for that.

All the love! Xoxo ♥

  2. I don't remember if I've ever used Wet n Wild. Hmm. How long do your polish usually last? Or how soon do you take them off. I have a week and a half old polish on but I don;t want to remove them yet haha. I love Zoya glitter (forgot how it's actually called)

    1. It depends on the polish. Since I don't like the Wet n Wild in this nail art, I erased this at the end of the day. What white polish can you recommend? Some of my polishes last for a week or more like Revlon's and my previous Hard Candy before. Opi is good as well. But once I hate the polish, I removed them immediately. Haha.

  4. I agree with Mecheel, the colors and polka dots reminded me of Minnie Mouse. These colors also work for Candycane stripes. :-)

  5. This made me miss my nail art days. I also started with polka dot design. It looks great for a beginner. Maybe you need to let your nail dry before you secure it with top coat. :)

    1. I actually had it dry already. I waited 30 minutes but it still messed up the whole design. :(

    1. Thanks! You can try it too. It's pretty simple. Without tools, you can use toothpick or match instead.
