Review: Nurture and Groom's Argan, Rosehip and Grapesed Oil

I am really late with all my blog works and reviews and I want to apologize to my sponsors who gave all their trust to me. I hope you understand what I'm going through. This review was one of the reviews that I should have done last month. Pardon my inconsistency with my blog posts.

Anyway, I've been suffering from stress lately and I don't know what happened to me but I got some skin itch and dryness all over my scalp. It was really worst. I feel that I have dry flakes all over my hair and I don't even want to come out of the house. I also got wound because I kept on itching all of my head. It was a disaster!

Good thing I got all these three oils from Nurture and Groom. Thanks to Miss Michelle for sending me these oils which really helped me a lot!

I've been into organic and natural products lately and it was a good choice. I got three different oils, Pure Argan, Rosehip and Grapeseed. Among the three I love using Argan Oil but the two were rather amazing as well.

I like Nurture and Groom's packaging. It's easier to dispense this way unlike to other traditional bottles. You can control the amount of the oil you'll be using.

Did I mention earlier that I am suffering from scalp problems? I really lost confidence standing in front of my class. I even tried to do activities to my students that left them alone by themselves so they won't approach me and see what's happening on my hair.

See?! I have a very dry scalp and there is something on the roots of my hair. It is something like a skin disease. I don't know if I can classify it to a ringworm or piedra. I remember my grandfather who has the same problems with skin disease. I know that our family line has a record of skin diseases. I just hope that it won't trigger to us. But when I saw this, I want to believe that it's just a simple scalp problem which I immediately solved by using the miracle oils.

For this, I used Argan Oil and it cleanses my scalp. Then I applied the Rosehip Oil to aid in removing the dandruff from the dried scalp.

After applying both oils, it was obvious that my hair looked clean and the wounds were lightened. The skin turned a little reddish but the wounds were cleared out which is a good sign already.

I also kept on using Argan Oil and Rosehip Oil on my hair for continuous improvement. I used them since my hair in general is a little dry. Before I wash my hair, I apply Rosehip Oil. Then after washing my hair, I rub a few drops of Argan Oil to tame the frizz and gives shine to the hair. This combo indeed is really effective!

This was the result of just finger-combing the oil to the hair. I love the effect of what these oils have done to my hair. The only downside I can say though is that I actually don't like the smell of the Rosehip Oil. I think it smells like fish oil (literally) because it has the tendency that the odor is stinky. I actually tried using the Rosehip Oil as a makeup remover on my first try but since I didn't like the smell, I just used it on my hair instead before washing it.

For my face, I rely on Grapeseed Oil. I used it as a makeup remover when I ran out of my usual makeup remover. I like that it cleanses really well and leaves my skin moisturized. It is light and I fell that it's quite odorless than the Rosehip Oil.

Look at the first swipe of this cotton ball below on my face. Actually, I just got out of the shower when I used this and look, it really does cleanse the face well despite washing the face prior with a cleanser. I really exclaimed WOAH! when I saw this.

I also tried doing swatches on my skin and tried cleaning it with the Grapeseed Oil. First, I used a lip liner on the left and lip tint on the right (photo below). These two products were well-known as long-wearing cosmetic items.

I first swipe the swatches on the first try. Look what remained on my skin. Let's see what happened on the second swipe.

Look! It cleanses really well. Beats my old makeup remover in just 2 swipes. I guess cleansing oils like the Grapeseed Oil really does the wonder on most skin. It already cleanses my face. It also leaves my skin moisturized too! I guess I was too late in discovering the magic of these beauty oils.

  1. I use argan oil, too. It's an effective hair and skincare product which I think is safe and not as harsh compared to other more popular products. I've been using argan oil for over a year now to help keep my hair moisturized. I'm glad that argan- rosehip- and grapeseed oil(s) have all worked for you. I will check out the brand you recommended next time.
