Review: Etude House Fresh Cherry Tint in Cherry Red

I became obsessed with lippies lately. I am wearing different shades of lipstick everyday at work and I'm currently into tints. Just last year at Etude House year-ender's sale, I bought this popular Cherry Tint from Etude House which I absolutely love because it's super long-wearing, and the color just really rocks just like women makeup spray!

It's actually my first time trying this tint and as early as now, I know I will definitely buy this once everything's been used up. Originally, I planned to get the purple one since it's limited-edition in some EH branches. However, I still ended up getting this shade because I just could't help myself adoring this cherry color.

Since I've been describing this tint (too much) regarding it's long-wearing skill, I tried to swatch it on my hand and tried removing it with water and even cleansing oil. See for yourself!

Original swatch

Washed with water

Washed with cleansing oil

Second wash with cleansing oil
Noticed that after several attempts of removing the tint, I just couldn't do it with simply water. I had to use cleansing oil deliberately to completely removed it on my hand. For me, this type of tint is really easy to use since I talk a lot on my job. It also saves me the hassle of reapplying it after my every class teaching hours.

So far, this tops both the Benefit tints I used before. This color even stands out more compared to other tints I tried.  Read my other reviews of the different tints and read for yourself. :)

Yay for me! (。◕‿◕。)
  • Gives a bright, cherry red color
  • Very cute and dainty packaging
  • Smells lovely
  • SUPER long-wearing
  • Moistens the lips
  • Available in different shades
Nay! (。◕︵◕。)
  • Since it's long-wearing, it is sometimes difficult to remove. It's a nay and a yay at the same time.
Price: P278.40
Bought from: Etude House Marquee Mall
Size:  9g.

Do you have the same shade? I guess I was too late to try this since this has been a hype years ago. Thanks to Etude House sale's I got to visit them and hoard makeup products. I finally found the lip tint that I truly want. I will also find all the other shade so I can differentiate them all. ♥

Kisses and hugs! Xoxo ♥

  2. I love the color and that it moistens the lips. Most lipstick brands dry my lips up after an hour or so. I hope I find this brand here.

  4. Moisturizing and long lasting?? I can see why Etude House lip tints are so popular! The lip tints that I've tried so far have all been really drying. Maybe I should try this :)

    1. A tint will definitely put more color and last longer. Plus the added moisturizing properties will leave you so pretty. Check out their lighter pink shade, a touch of coral and a light purple one..

  6. Nice color and price is not expensive. The only downside is, it is not easy to remove.

    1. Well, if you wear it really long then you save some bucks. So I guess it's still under the 'yay' factor. :)

  9. I love products fro Etude House. My favorite is their lip balm which I think is the only lip balm that works for me. I tried a lot of lip balms from other brands but it's not as good as Etude's. I like to try this tint once I have emptied my lip stains.

  11. What frustrates me is that Etude caters mostly to fair Asians, which are not very many in the Philippines. Including myself. Haha #bitter. Hope they make products for morenas

  20. Lippies as you call it are my weaknesses to every woman. I love seeing them wearing a shiny, bright lipstick especially the red one.

  24. I like the color and the fact that it is long-lasting even when washed. I think I should get this lipstick because I always get to "eat" the lipstick I'm wearing.

    1. Eat? Or is it because you always lick your lips? I also have that tendency too. Haha

  26. I love that it stays on for a long time - no need to excuse yourself to do re-touch. After a long meeting, I normally leave the place looking like I need blood transfusion, no color on my lips at all. :P

  27. I just bought a lip and cheek tint from Avon, and it's not that good unlike this. I better get one when I visit EH. :-)

  28. I haven't tried this one but I think its good that it stays long, that's what I want for a tint since I don't usually do retouch.

    1. Even if I want to do some retouch, I am too busy so this would come really helpful.

  29. It is cheap for a long wearing make up,. I love it! Less retouch
