Event: BDJ Box Beauty Social Camp Gorgeous

Last March was the first BDJ Box Beauty Social I have attended which also happened to be my very first event since I started blogging. From then on, I started attending BDJ events like the BDJ Rendezvous a couple of months ago. Now, I attended the second and last beauty social this year, the Camp Gorgeous.

I arrived a little early before the first talk I will be attending so I visited some of the booths first. There were only few bellas when I arrived so I chanced on the Free Skin Analysis offered by Loreal. They also have free facial as well but I had to pass since my first talk was 1pm for Shu Uemura.

After the consultation, I found out that I have oil and aging problems on my face. The staff said that those parts with the color blue has a lot of wrinkles while orange and green were just okay. As a result, my skin age is 28, but I'm only 27. I need to take care more of my skin.

Some of the recommendations from Loreal that I can use to correct my skin problems. I should check out their counters soon!

After I had my skin checked, I already went to the talk venue for Mr. Patrick Alcober's tutorial on eye makeup. I learned a lot from him and now I am very inspired to learn more on eye makeup. Btw, the event was hosted by the very lovely, Karen Bordador.

After the talk, I roamed around again to visit every booth and to see what they got to offer. I actually gave myself time limit because I need to go back to Pampanga as early as I can for I have work tomorrow and it's also raining hard. I thought that it would be difficult for me to travel back which what really happened earlier. There's a typhoon and I still managed to travel to Manila and back. Sigh!

Anyway, I still made the most out of my stay there.

Yves Rocher gave away samples by sharing their post on Facebook.

PAC has an ongoing training for some Bellas and they're giving away some freebies too.

I tried Glam Glow for the first time because I am very curious on how it feels. Too bad they ran out of samples so I just need to try their mud mask here and the one they got for the eyes which name I forgot.

My supposedly second talk but I was so busy roaming around and trying to chat with anyone that I forget to go back to the talk area. I am actually trying my very best to talk to someone but it seems like it's not working out. T__T

I want everything in here! Too bad I do not have moolah with me and it's a lot of hassle if I will force myself to get some cash when it's raining so hard outside the venue. (excuses, excuses!)

Revlon has an ongoing training for some Bellas

Overall, I had fun attending the event despite that I'm all alone. I am becoming more independent now when it comes to event like this and I hope one day, I'll gather more friends. Please be friends with me. I am kind. Haha ♥

My take home loot for the day.  This is what's included in the loot bag when you pre-register. I think I got the same items like the first BDJ Social I attended. My sister actually teased me that it's not practical to go to Manila just for this stuff but little did she know that I am not after this, but to the experience and new friends I gain at the event.

I am so liking to try these samples. I got a lot of Shu Uemura inside the bag. I hope I can get my future products in these samples.

I left really early around 4pm because I was concerned with the typhoon. I might be stranded like my family's experience during Ondoy so I wasn't able to fully enjoy the event. I actually wanted to stay longer but safety first.

Thank you again #BDJBox for this successful event. See you next time. Xoxo ♥

  1. I have yet to join something an event like that but it is quite interesting. I am just way too conscious have someone look into my skin with a lot of onlookers on the side (as if they care, right? hehehe). With the freebies you got ,though, I might consider it.
