Review: MAC Paint Pot (Bare Study)

Finally, I got to experience my very first MAC cosmetics. Actually, I already had several MAC products before which I won in a giveaway but decided to sell them because I need moolah. The sadness was just coming over me now. :'(

What was left was this Paint Pot from the same giveaway so I just used it since I cannot sell it anymore because it was the first thing I used among all the prizes. Now, I'm giving you my review on my very first (and official) MAC item.

To be honest, I am not really familiar with paint pots at first. Basically, this acts as a great base for all of your favorite eye shadows plus this doesn't crease and you can just put the right amount on your lids and blend out the edges with a finger, curl your lashes with your favorite mascara and put on a bright lipstick and you're all set.

What's great is that it has that glittery shimmer you'll really love. It always deceives my coworkers like I always had a great night sleep where in fact, I am always puyat in doing my student's grades and the like. They would always say I'm blooming whenever I had this on - an instant mood lifter. ♥

Since I am not into colored eye shadows at work, this bare nude shade definitely is a keeper! It's perfect for everyday use!

Yay for me! (。◕‿◕。)
  • It has a very pretty shimmery effect.
  • It stays all day and never creases.
  • Gives a natural look.
  • 5g last forever! I have it for more than a year now and there's plenty of it. Other bloggers say they had theirs for 3 years and more.
Nay! (。◕︵◕。)
  • Pricey. However, you'll definitely get your penny's worth! I swear! ^.^
Price: $21.99 (Got it for FREE as a winning!)
Bought from: MAC website, stores or partner establishments
 Size: 5g.

Do you have any favorite eye shadow as of the moment? I love this so much that I sometimes carry it on my pocket.

Share your favorite here and let's have some chat on eye shadow and other cosmetics. ♥

  1. I only have experience with BB cream and only BB cream, hehe. I don't know much about make ups and your posts give me ideas on different make ups.

    1. I was also like that before, then I discovered so many things about cosmetics and skin care. It's cool I got to learn something. :)

  2. I'm not really into make-up, but if given a chance I can consider trying this one.

  3. my first MAC was a lipstick a few years ago and I must say, it is worth every cent. Isn't it too shimmery for a day look?

    1. Nope. Not at all. I actually like how it stays so long.

  4. Get soft ochre as well. It's the matte, beige one that's a great brightening base for eyeshadow. It's suited to warm skin, and you need it for a matte option, hihihihihihi

  5. I'm so clueless bout make-up. I could easily get pimples all over my face, so I was advised not to put anything even a baby powder :(
    nice review though!
