Review: Nivea UV Whitening Serum

I just want to review and give a shout-out to one of my most favorite product recently. When I purchased this lotion last January, I immediately fell in love with it. The smell, the moisture, the packaging. Everything! ♥

I found this out when I was out of my old lotion. As I was searching the shelves of Watsons for a new one, I tried each and every lotion and compared all of them. I especially love this one.

My previous lotion was the biggest one from a certain brand and I guess it took me 6-8 months before I consumed everything. I also use other lotions on the side.

Yay for me! (。◕‿◕。)
  • Smells lovely.
  • It has SPF 25 and PA+++
  • Enriched with Vitamin C
  • Really great in moisturizing the skin.
Nay! (。)
  • Nothing that I know of. (^o~)
Price: P230.00
Bought from: Watsons
 Size: 200 ml.

This product promises noticeably radiant and fairer skin after 14 days. I noticed that it became more moisturized and radiant but didn't notice that it was fairer than my current skin tone. I still like it that way though. :)

Have you tried this product? What do you say? If you have your own review, share yours here. I would love to read what you got there.

Bye for now. Until the next. Xoxo ♥

  1. I'm using the violet one from nivea before, and it says that it whitens the skin in just 7 days.. Though I was expecting it to lighten my skin, I was kinda disappointed because it doesn't do anything on my skin. But I still love nivea. Maybe it doesn't suit my skin lang siguro :)

  2. Gusto ko itry ito :) I'm not after whitening, gusto ko lang na mamoisturized maigi yung skin ko.. I'm using the myra e, the blue variant. although it makes my skin super lambot, yung amoy nya parang baby oil. I wanted to try this one, it seems a very good product :) Thanks for the great review :)

    1. This both smells good and moisturizes well. I used Myra-E before because of the beads. I love that product too! :)

  3. We have a large Jergens moisturizing lotion at home. We acquired it last year pa, and I think it's still half-full. Haha. Or I think we are too lazy sometimes to put lotion. Dry skin tuloy.

    1. I used to be like that before. However, I changed my routine of putting lotion in the morning and at night.

  4. I haven't tried this. Like you, I am trying different kinds of lotions, usually gifts, hehe. I have body cream pa. What's the difference between lotions and body creams?

    1. Same here sis. I still have Elizabeth Arden lotion. A far as I know, body creams are generally richer than lotion and the effect is longer. The former provides normal moisturize than the higher level of hydration from body cream.

  5. I always love Nivea because like you said it's good in moisturizing the skin. Kaya lang medyo kuripot ako, hehe... This Nivea UV Whitening serum is interesting since summer na, masakit na sikat ng araw sa balat :)

  6. I guess you will have to use it longer to see the lightening effect on skin and I think that the "14 days" on the packaging is just part of their strategy to boost sales. But on the other side, this product is still good because it really moisturizes your skin.

    1. Yes sis. I love this lotion though medyo 'bitin' with it's price. Definitely worth a try though! :)
