Review: Purederm's Dark Circle Reducer Eye Patches

If I have one beauty dilemma that would top my list, it would be dark circles. Even if I sleep 8 hours a day (or beyond) my dark circles never fades. Until now, I am still on the lookout for the perfect product that will EFFECTIVELY remove my dark circles.

I recently discovered Purederm's Dark Circle Reducer Eye Patches. Of course, I tried it hoping it would make any difference.

A pack of Purederm's Dark Circle Reducer has 4 single patches in which inside are two packs. I already used the other pack so I only have one left. (photo below)

Instructions on how to apply it is very easy. It is like the nose pack I used before. You can view some of my reviews of it here.

How To Use

1. Clean your face.
2. Remove the patch from plastic liner.
3. Apply the patch to appropriate area with shiny side facing the skin.
4. Wear the patches for 30 minutes. Make it overnight if possible.
5. Remove the parch then rinse off.

Apply the patch with the shiny side facing the skin so it would look like the photo below.

Tadaah! Hahaha.. My bare face! That's how you apply it. Just follow the simple steps above on using the product.

Yay for me! (。◕‿◕。)
  • Very easy application.
Nay! (。)
  • Kinda expensive.
  • I don't see any effect. :(
Price: - P79.75
Bought from: Watsons
 Size: 4 patches

I don't think I will repurchase. After using all the patches, I didn't see any effect at all. Perhaps I need to use it daily or several times a week. With that, it would really be expensive. I think I just need to purchase an eye cream or the like.

Have you seen the same product? Or used something like this one? Any effect? Message me down for any comments. I want to hear your story. 'Till next time. xoxo ♥

Empties #2

So here's my second round of empties. You can check my first set here. If you notice, I got more empties on hair care products right? It's because I always try what will work nicely on my hair. Right now, I'm using VS so wait until it's all used up. Haha.

From my empties post, you'll notice that both have Lovely Me:Ex BB cream on it. I just feel so bare without BB Cream. So far, it's the best BB Cream I tried.

What do you think of my empties post? Post down your comments. I'll appreciate any feedback. Got your empties post too? Share your link here. I would love to read what you got! :)

Happy New Year everyone! Let the countdown begin! Love y'all! :) ♥

Haul: Sample Room #8

I know I will sound pissed with the introduction like this but I can't helped it! This is the most disappointing order I had with Sample Room. Why? I ordered three items with my points and only received two from them and the order came a week late.

This is my Sample Room #8.

But I actually ordered this together with the Sappe Beauti Drink. It's just so annoying that you're expecting something that is not included in the package. Plus I paid additional P30.00 from the usual P130.00 shipping fee. It's just like I bought the drink myself at the store and not receiving it. Just a total fail!
I tried to dispute it but then I decided not to anymore since retrieving it again would be more of a hassle for me. As of now, I got no reply yet. I just can't help but to be disappointed with Sample Room. You know when you trust someone and then this kind of thing happened, hmmm, I just can't explain the feeling! (Masyadong affected?! Haha)

This was my first and hopefully will be the last. I think I will still keep on getting items from Sample Room but it's more of a 50-50 scale now. I just actually want to get a simple sorry from them when I as them on twitter but they didn't even budge with my complain. Oh well, papel!

Anyway, did this happen to you before? If yes, what actions did their staff made? I want to read what they did for you. Leave your stories below. Thanks! ;)

'Till my next haul.  xoxo ♥

UPDATE: Today, Jan.6, 2014, I received the remaining product from Sample Room which was not included in the previous package. I don't know if this is intentional or just because I tweeted them about the mistake the last time. Anyway, I just want to thank them. 'Till next.

Food Getaway: Causeway Seafood Restaurant

Last Friday, I met my college friends in QC for our little get-together. If you didn't know, I graduated at PNU Manila and after finishing college, I went back here in Pampanga. So I sometimes travel to the metro to meet friends or just to explore places and restaurants.

Speaking of restaurants, we dined in for lunch at Causeway Restaurant in Banawe after experiencing Ace Water Spa for the first time. I have a coupon from BDJ with a Buy 1 Take 1 purchase. So I went there with my boyfriend. I just can't blog about the experience because photos aren't allowed inside the spa. I super love the experience to bits!!! I just hope the management will change their rule about not bringing gadget inside the establishment so bloggers can post about it. Try it there and you'll enjoy your vacay. :)

Now back for my food post, as I've mention we dined in at Causeway since I want to taste their food there. I'm very familiar with the area because I used to live around Cordillera when I was still in high school. However, I just can't eat there since high school's money can't afford to dine in such restos. Jollibee nga gipit pa eh! Haha

source: Google
There's nothing fancy on the exteriors and interiors of the resto. The moment they take our order, they served us with a pot of tea for FREE. It's a bit bitter of course. Haha. :)

While waiting for our orders, there's a server who roams around pushing a cart with authentic dimsums and I want to try their Chicken Feet. Since it's on their promo, instead of the usual 70php, we got it for 48php only. It's so tender that it really fells off the bones. :)

Chicken Feet (P48.00)
Since we're so tired after the spa experience, we agreed to eat a heavy meal. First is their Yangchow Fried Rice. Their small plate can accommodate more than two.

Yangchow Fried Rice (P230.00)
We also agreed to get two main dish - Steam Suahe and Sweet and Sour Pork. We're both heavy eater. Especially me. Hahaha. :)

Steam Suahe (P400.00)
Sweet and Sour Pork (P270.00)

Mi amor
He looked too tired and wants to eat already and yet I'm still taking pictures. Haha. Thanks for the patience. I love you loves! ♥

So that's our experience with the resto. Have you tried eating at Causeway? I know they have different branches in the metro. I hope you can have your share of their dining experience there.

'Till the next everyone. xoxo ♥

Food Getaway: Noche Buena

Merry Christmas everyone! (^o~)))

I was so happy to celebrate Christmas with my family and loved ones. Here's what we had (and still have) for our noche buena.  :)
The Crowd's Favorite
Something sticky :)
Premium 'Cut' Ham
Chicken Love!
Beat this Christmas heat
From sister with love
Bottoms Up!
... and the last but definitely not the least is...

Some household holds a tradition of cooking a certain dish for this event. In our case, it's the nilaga. I love this nilaga 'cause it falls off the bones. Really tender and delicious. What's your Noche Buena experience? Share it here loves. xoxo.

Season's Greetings y'all! ♥ :)

Review: Asian Secrets Lulur Whitening Body Scrub

Merry Christmas everyone!

Before the clock strikes twelve, I'm leaving you with another blog post. Thanks to Globe's recurring internet disconnection, I wasn't able to blog for days. Good thing technicians came this afternoon and made it work. After Christmas, they'll be back with a new modem because it's already loose. Anyhoo, back to blogging. :)

If you've read my other post here, I've been a fan of scrubs lately. There, I bragged about how scrubs really cleanse my face and leaves the skin soooo undeniably smooth! Use it to feel it!

Asian Secrets Lulur Whitening Body Scrub in Seaweed Extract is no different. What I love about this is that you can apply it while watching TV and let it sit on your skin for a couple of minutes, then rinse. Yes, this is to be applied on a dry skin so that it removes dead skin cells before washing up. The smell is really nice as well.

What is Lulur anyway? Lulur Indonesian Whitening Body Scrub is a beauty treatment which which originated from the royal palaces of Java Indonesia and inspired by a ritual called Lulur. Lulur was originally intended for the bride-to-be in order to beautify, smoothen and whiten her skin before the wedding day.

I always have seen this product before reviewed by other bloggers but didn't got the chance to use it. Only until our stepmom bought it and gave the other one to me. I remember she mentioned that it is on a promo of buy 1 take 1. It's a great catch, isn't it?!

It also has whitening benefits, by which using it frequently will reduce skin pigmentation and evens out skin tone by getting rid of dark patches especially in areas prone to darkening like the elbows, knees, armpit and the areas between the thighs.

Yay for me! (。◕‿◕。)
  • It contains Vitamin E
  • Nice smell
  • Removes dead skin cells
  • Smoothens and whitens the skin
  • Clean feeling after application
  • Makes the skin glowing after use
Nay! (。)
  • I hope they have more of this in a different kind. I guess they have this in green tea variant and another one
Price: P130.00 (Bought this during the promo - Buy 1 Take 1)
Bought from: Watsons
 Size: 250 g.

I love this and I will buy my second tub and more tubs after that. I will also try other products from Lulur now since I am loving this product. This really never failed to impress me. (^o~)))

Did you happen to use this product before? What's your experience with the product? Comment below and share your thoughts.

Happy Holidays everyone! xoxo ♥

NOTD: Troubled Magenta

Finally! After long months of waiting, I got to post some NOTD again. Just in time for another Manicure Monday! Oh gosh I miss this! :)

It's really crazy I found time to polish my own nails again. It looks like I need to wait for the next vacation before time would permit me to do so. Haha. I am so happy right now!

I got this super pretty L.A Colors from my friends shop who sells authentic US items. You can visit her shop here. She sells authentic women and men's clothes, baby items, chocolates, perfumes, bags, among others. She also got a wide range of beauty items and it's where I got these two babies. This is originally P120 but she sold it to me for a P100. Impressive discount to think that this is shipped all the way from US. :)

So what's with the title? I guess you can blame the camera that I used since it doesn't want to show the real color of the polish. Since it doesn't have a label on what color is it, I am 'claiming' that this is very close to magenta. So I tried getting a shot of it without a flash which is the one posted above and another shot with a flash. Take a look!

Even after two shots, I still can't give you the real color. The very color actually look like this.

Situations like this makes me want to look for more options in getting a camera. As what I've mentioned here, I'm just borrowing my sister's Nikon and this is the perfect excuse to fix my blogging dilemma. Haha. We'll see.

So what do you think of my notd? I want to hear your thoughts! Share them! :)

All the love. xoxo ♥

Jollibee's Maaga Ang Pasko!

Jollibee's Maaga ang Pasko program encourages everyone to donate a toy or book to other children in the celebration of the holiday season. This is only a small step in spreading love and happiness to our fellowmen.

Last Thursday, I pampered all my cutey stuff toys by giving them a bath. Now they're squeaky clean and ready to meet their new friends. I am sending them out to children who deserve to smile. :)

These toys made me smile when I was young and even now that I am an semi-adult. Ugh! My faves are those stars and HK. I wish that whoever will receive this, I hope I made you happy. :)

And the next question is...

I am totally caught off-guard reading this statement. I know that 'time' is the best gift I can give my love ones and being busy is not an excuse not to spend quality time with them. I will make sure to catch up with them soon today! ^o^

What's your early Christmas gift? :) xoxo. ♥

My Christmas Wishlist

While every one's posting about their Christmas list, I got some stories to tell too! I don't wanna left behind. Hahaha. Plus this is a way to make parinig with my friends and relatives around. #KiddingNotKidding #Haha

1. Running Shoes!

It doesn't have to be necessarily Nike. It can be Skechers, Adidas and the like. Haha. Anyhoo, I 'need' this. It is actually my goal to attend my first run this year but sadly, the odds weren't in my favor. Too busy with school among others yada yada yada. No excuses for next year. I will have my first run on January 2014. (I'm claiming it!)

2. Tough Looking Wedges

I want to add some oomph on my outfits. Unfortunately, my beloved black tough looking wedge was damaged during one stormy day so I need to replace it with a new one. I'm still looking for the rocking pair. Any recos? :)

3. A Whole Year Subscription of BDJ Box

I bet I have the same wish list like all the bellas out there! Who wouldn't love a year supply of their boxes? I always cannot get the chance to subscribe with their boxes because it's always out of stock.  For next year, I will strive hard to catch each of the month's boxes. Since I failed to get the Jan-Feb 2014 boxes, I will sign up for 3 months beginning March.. and so on. ^o^

4. Styling Iron

This is Revlon's Perfect Heat 1-3/4inch Curling Iron. I want one of this. Reason: Just to make something out of my hair.

5. Tank Tops!

In all colors! Literally! I noticed that I can mix and match it with anything. I just want to have those tops with the right fit. And if there are cute designs, that will be a bonus! :)

6. Flats (in all colors too!)

Though I know that I will still look petite after having it on, it still is my first love before heels. I couldn't resist having a pair or two. I can take those with different designs too! :)

7. A Longchamp

Maybe the reason for this is that I just wanted to have a big bag and Longchamp first came into mind. I am eyeing a violet Longchamp Le Pliage.

8. Nail Polishes!

My love for nail polishes will never fade. Though I have so many lack of post for NOTDs, I still love the artsy thing nail polishes can do. I'm just busy, you know. By the way, I love OPI just so you know. ;)

9. Laptop

This is what I NEED. Though I can blog on our desktop now, it is still not mine alone. I may sound selfish but hey, I need a laptop too for my work you know. It may not be an Apple but I want to have something with a core i7 written in it. :)

10. Ipad Mini

Technically, I just want a tablet for ebook. That's all. Haha. Or I can change this number for a watch.

...or a Watch!

When I saw this, it was love at first sight. I am not a watch person though but I'm rocking this! I want 2014 to remind me to spend more precious time with my loved ones so it's a good excuse to spoil myself with a watch or two. Or maybe just one.

11. Keyboard

My dad really was the one who wants this but since I love him so much from the bottom of my hypothalamus, I will save up for this! I also want to play more pieces to what I currently know. Eidelweiss, MoonRiver and a Happy Birthday can now be removed off the list. :)

12. Samsung Galaxy SV

To dream the impossible dream! Oh well, I just want to experience liking this as a gift. Besides, I don't want so much fuss with phones. Something that can make me call and text is already enough.

13. Canon Ixus

A camera is really what I want for Christmas. It is hard for me to blog using my sister's Nikon so it is really my goal to save for this. I actually want a DSLR but I find it heavy and bulky. I want a camera that I can bring everyday wherever I go. So far, this one can fit my budget and my bag. Do you have any recos on camera that's good for blogging?

14. Hershey's Kisses

I love chocolates! I think I can eat a whole sack of Hershey's kisses in a day! Of course, that would mean killing myself. Haha. Kidding aside, I want a year supply of this but I will consider taking it in moderation. :)

This post may be a bit late for Christmas so I'm thinking of changing the title to 'My 2014 Wishlist'. ^o^

Though gift-giving is a part of this season, let's not forget that the Christmas is a celebration of our savior's birthday who just gave us the best gift evuuhh! Let's all give time to thank Him for everything! Love yah! #JessBless :)

Merry Christmas! ♥
