Review: Lovely ME:EX BB Cream

One of my favorite skincare since I first learned about it were BB creams. I feel that with the right amount of BB cream, it will leave the skin smooth. It also provides the no-makeup-on-the-go scheme on women who are not much into makeup. This is my third BB cream tube and it never failed to amaze me!

I first started with Etude House' version of Precious Mineral Bright Fit BB Cream No.2. Afterwards, I switched to The Face Shop's FACE It Power Perfection where Kim Hyun Joong was the endorser. I used both when I wasn't blogging yet. Good thing this third tube experience will leave blog-print on my humble web abode. Haha ^___^ It's the Lovely ME:EX BB Cream from The Face Shop as well.

This BB cream has a very cute packaging because of it's dainty design. It's also handy so you can bring it daily on your beauty kit. I used to have a large tube of BB cream before and it's just a hassle lurking aroud with that big thing inside my bag. The language used though is in Korean so technically, no instructions were included.Unless you know how to read the language. :)

It has an SPF 20+++ making it recommended for daily use. Though it doesn't have a nozzle, it's not a big deal for me because I feel that I can control the amount that I need to squeeze out on the tube. For some, this might be a downside.

The swatch, as you can see matches my skin tone very well. It is very light on the skin as well. It feels like you're not wearing BB cream at all.

I used BB cream on the right side of my face (audience perspective). Pardon the tired-looking eyes and messy hair. I look ugly! Hahaha.

Notice that the right side of my face looks a little dewy. It's like those Korean stars that have flawlessly-looking skin. Note: I'm not Korean. LOL. HAHA XD

... and the finished product?

Why am I making my eyes so big I look like a tarsier!!! Eeerr, I'm sorry guys, I'm no camera-genic. Oh, what a term! ^__^

Love the BB cream. It is very light on the skin and very easy to carry around. Though to be honest, this BB cream doesn't have a full coverage. You need to put a generous amount for it to cover the unevenness on your skin. I only had one application on those photos above. Putting it twice or thrice may result to your liking. Staying power is so-so. I sometimes reapply it when needed.

This is by far the most affordable BB cream I have ever used. I forgot the exact amount because my sister bought it for me but I guess this is around P350-P400. :)

Have you tried using this same product before? Any thoughts? 'Till my next post again. xoxo ♥

  1. Do they have a range of shades to choose from, or is it just one? And how many mL/grams of product is this? LoL. Sorry for all the Qs. I usually base my purchase on the amount of product and the price. Haha. This BB cream is definitely on my list of "To try" products. Glad to see another review. :)

  7. I am still contemplating whether to go back to using BB or tinted moisturizer. The good thing about using those is I never have NO time to do it because I will never go out without moisturizing. But the downside is I'm not good at gauging when I'm already putting on too much. Sigh. Is it really best to put on BB cream with a foam applicator?

  9. Honestly, I have not tried any brand of BB Cream. Sa Korea ba nag umpisa ito? Because the brand you've mentioned above are all K brands. I think I'll consider trying them by next year na..

  10. What's the difference between BB creams and tinted moisturizers? My mom and I are BB cream noobs, so we're out to look for what would work for us.

    1. BB creams have a thick consistency compare to tinted moisturizer. Also I know that tinted moisturizers are more expensive than BBs.

  15. I hardly notice it, not that I wasn't wearing my eyeglasses but, you have such nice skin with or without the cream...although sometimes it helps us get moisturized, specially for aging people like me...we would really need some beauty products like these.
